Looking out of the blurry window of the vehicle. Her hand pressing against the glass, swiping off the mist that blocked her sight. The sun slowing setting as darkness start to conquer, clouds dimming and stars started glistening in the dark sky. "We have arrived darling." A soothing voice snapped her back into reality. Letting out a scoff, carefully eyeing the dark academia like mansion before her eyes.

The door swung open and a hand assisted her out along with her parents. Multiple very well known gentlemen and ladies were finely dressed with accents of gold and silver. "May I ask why I must come to such party, I mean I do not see much of my age?" Y/N cocked an eyebrow up.

"There are, Just so you wait." Her Mother Eudora placed an arm on her shoulder. She didn't want an answer to her question, it was a lame excuse to get her away from the crowd. Walking up through the extremely large doors and met a darker aura yet the inside was filled with a soft jazz bliming through the building; creating an elegant touch to the atmosphere.

"Oh Malfoy, Thank you for inviting us. Well deserved promotion. This is my daughter, Y/N Ysabel." Her father, Edward chimed and shook hands with his old time friend. "What a pleasure to have you tonight. You obviously know my wife, Narcissa. This is my son, Draco." Lucius eyed Draco to step upfront and greet them.

Narcissa and Eudora exchanged smiles and a hug. "You never age." Eudora joked as Narcissa grinned. "I could say that to you." Narcissa stated. "I'm Draco, Draco Lucius Malfoy." The little kid had his head up and a straight posture. Narcissa nudged Draco, immediately putting a hand out to shake hands with the family infront of him. Showing respect to a fellow pureblood family; wanting to leave a good impression.

He looked at the female of his age and raised an eyebrow. "I assume you're Y/N?" He spoke rather in a smug tone, eyeing her up. "You must be deaf or shall my father repeat himself?" She smiled sweetly, hiding her words as their parents converse in their own world. "I'm Y/N Ysabel Ellis." Introducing herself with a smug tone; clearly imitating the young blonde. "I was being nice-" He scoffed. "That was nice? Really?" She squinted her eyes in disbelief.

A few minutes went by and awkward silence build up as the two of them looked at their parents. "Draco, keep Y/N entertained and such. We will be in the lounge, discussing some matters." Narcissa smiled. Soon both of their parents were no longer in sight.

A sigh escaped Y/N's lips. "You don't have to do so, I'll be fine." She turned her heel around. "My parents wouldn't approve of that idea of yours." He scowled and walked beside her. "How about we stand by the sweets?" He asked as Y/N's eyes shot up and light up. "A sweet tooth?" He walked infront leading her across the crowd and into the food area.

"I hate parties, unless its mine ofcourse." Y/N blurred out as she bit unto the chocolate covered marshmallow. "I couldn't agree more." He nodded. "So, Where will you study first year?" Draco spoke up trying to defuse the awkward atmosphere. "Mother told me that I will be attending Hogwarts, Beauxbatons was an option but Hogwarts seem to capture my interest. Resulting to me receiving my letter last week." She said while hand picking more marshamllows.

"Chatter much?" He joked. "We'll be seeing each other often then? I shall be attending Hogwarts aswell, I was suppose to attend Durmstrang Institute since father wanted me to study there but its too far?" He huffed and took a marshmallow aswell.

"Oh Merlin look at the time. I believe that the main course would be served soon. We wouldn't want to be late or scolded, shall we head to the table then Ms. Ellis?" He asked. "Sheesh, so formal Malfoy. I get the respect but you're making me feel old and you sound like a 30 year old!" She muttered with pure sarcasm and followed along. "Hey! I am not." He scrunched his nose. "Yes, you are." She stated before rushing to her parents and sat down beside them.

Food served, low mutters and chimes of glasses filled the room. "Psst." She shot her head up looking at the boy who turned it's head away in a flash as he acted utterly clueless about his little action across the table. "So immature." She snickered and felt the corners of her lips brim up into a soft smile. Bowing her head to avoid being seen ㅡ a fringe of hair falling unto her face covering up her little chuckle. Finishing the platter of food, she excused herself and headed to the dessert buffet once more.

________

"You don't know how to dance?" Y/N looked dumbfounded at the male who admitted before her eyes. "Are you really a Malfoy?" She chuckled and looked around. Dinner has finished, rather very boring and uninteresting. She was stuck to hang out with Draco due to the lack of young people to interact in the party. "Blimey! I am a Malfoy, What has dancing have to do with being a Malfoy?" He asked. "Formalities, plus you're going to need to know. Sometime in the future you'll be using it very often." She crossed her arms. "I heard that from my mom, so I started to get lessons." The boy nodded.

"I got some moves-" Draco started doing small dances, his feet alternating with tapping on the floor as his shoulders moved up and down in a grovy way. "Are you joking?" She tried to contain her laugh.

"If that's not the dance, then might as well tell me the dance you're talking about?" Draco asked with a bit of annoyance in his tone. "I mean, sure..." She nodded and stood infront of him.

"Put a hand here, then you hold my hand." Placing his hand on her waist, the soft velvet brushing along his fingers; the other hand awkwardly interwined with hers. "Then we go step with our right foot and left, more so go with the flow." Looking at up to meet his flustered expression, a sly grin plastered on her face.

"Nervous, Mafloy?" She teased, hesitatingly he followed along her directions. He tried to assist her and sway; rather dashing than he expected he looked like penguin waddling while hugging a fish to take home. Draco heard the music increasing the tempo as the adrenaline kicked within him. He unknowingly pulled his hand away from her hip and spun her around trying to mimic what he typically sees; but he seemed to execute his repulsive plan too agressively.

Y/N spun multiple times. Dizzy by the minute she expected to halt but the little boy had lost grip of her hand, before they knew it she stumbled and tumbled on her bottom. She ascended upwards before anyone else could see, flushing red in embarrassment before turning to the blonde git. "You arse!" Her hand recoiled back before her ears and swung her arms, smacking the back of his head. "Ow! That hurt!" He cried and felt his eyes water at the impact.

The female had a hand on her waist and the male had a hand on his head; both in pain. They both looked at each other's state, that was enough for the both of them to let out uncontrollable laughter.

"You should've seen your face!" They chimed together.

________

"Oh my, You're seeing what i'm seeing?" Eudora asked with a hint of happiness and excitement in her voice. "Yes, I see but they both look like they're in the verge of crying." Narcissa cocked an eyebrow up and let a smile spread across her face. "They'll be good friends." They said in unison before turning around, giving the children some time for them to mind their own business.

________

"Alright, what a lesson." Draco exageratingly took a deep breathe and fixed his hair and coat. "I feel bad for the girl you will be dancing in the future." Y/N took the chance to slip a back-handed insult. "It was a first-" He scoffed and crossed his arms; turning to avoid her mocking gaze.

"But I might also take classes now." He admitted.
