Tanjiro's POV

The delivery of my sword is here, so i woke them up so they can see what my sword look like

"Yui, Ichika wake up my sword is here"

(Yui and Ichika Yawn)

(Yui patted ichika to wake her up)

"just a second, we're getting ready"

Yui and Ichika came out

And sit behind on me

Mr Haganezuka Hotaru is the swordsmam

As my friends wake up Haganezuka-san entered inside. His mask is very peculiar as I've never seen a mask like that before. The only ever mask I have seen is the mask Urokodaki-sensei gave me and Sabito and Makomo's Mask.

"Here's your sword kid." said Haganezuka-san as he hands me my sword. I looked at the sword with fasination.

"What do you think the colour's gonna be Tanjiro-kun?" asked Ichika.

"I don't know either." I replied.

"Seeing you in person, I perhaps think the sword will be red. You look like a child of the sun." Haganezuka-san exclaimed while staring at me.

I hummed as I slowly held my own nichirin sword. I looked at every detail of it. The design of it is amazing. I can tell Haganezuka-san worked hard on it.

Finally. I get to have a chance to avenge my family and protect my sister. Yui must have seen my solem expression as she gave me a pat on the back.

I nodded at her and looked back at my sword. It was as if it felt my determination to fight, the sword slowly turned... Black?

Haganezuka-san (d ko alam kung pano nya nalaman but OK), Ichika and Yui looked shocked with the colour of my sword.

"Black?! And here I thought I get to see a red one. Too bad. I'm disappointed in you kid." I looked at Haganezuka-san with a sheepish expression. Ichika and Yui looked at him with a deadpan expression.

Yui's POV

I got shock about Tanjiro's sword, because his sword color is black, in Demon Slayer black sword means that his the weakest, but I know his different. By the way I need to talk with Urokodaki-san

(A few moments later)

"Mr urokodaki!!!!!!"

I shout on Mr urokodaki-san, what the heck🤦,but it's okay I think he's not mad.

"What is it child?" asked Urokodaki-san.

"I wanted to ask why Tanjiro's sword black? I mean, Haganezuka-san just said that Tanjiro is a child of the sun. And from the looks of it, Tanjiro has a lot of potential." I said. Urokodaki-san hummed and turned his back on me with his hands behind his back.

"There is a reason why that child's nichirin sword black. As there is also a reason as to why he lost his family. Just like you said, he has potential. But for now, he has a lot to learn before he realises his true worth. Tanjiro-kun is a bit naive, but I guess that can be his strength at times." he explained.

I looked at him with confusion. What is he on about?

"Still confused Yui?"

I sighed as he said that. I know he won't explain in a way that I'll understand. "Alright alright. Fine. I won't ask anymore. But, I will believe what you said about Tanjiro. I trust you as Tanjiro's teacher." after I said that I then went back to my best friend and my new hard-headed (literally) friend.

Ichika's POV

Tanjiro's sword is very peculiar. His personality contrasts with his nichirin sword and yet it's somewhat similar to him in a way. Yui just went to ask Urokodaki-san about his sword. And knowing Urokodaki, he won't give an answer that Yui will understand. I let out a giggle as I thought about how Haganezuka-san reacted when he saw Tanjiro's sword.

It was very unexpected. Just like Tanjiro. I can never understand how he can never seaze to amaze me. The determination of him wanting to protect his sister is impeccable. I feel the same way. I too want to protect Yui. She's my best friend, but she's also like a sister to me. And I want to protect her even though she's already strong.

I looked at the sky as I let out a raspberry. I wonder if we'll meet new friends in the future. Meeting Tanjiro and Nezuko is amazing and all, but I want to meet more people. It terrifies me how I want to have more people to care about yet be scared to loose them. Well, whatever happens, I will not let anything happen to my precious friends.

"Ichika!!" I heard Yui call for me. I turned to see her with Tanjiro. I waved at them and laughed. It was time for a new adventure I guess. I ran up to them and hugged Yui.

"What were you thinking about Ichika?" asked Tanjiro with a cute curious look. I replied by giving him a closed eye smile.

"Nothing much."

Little did I know that everything that has happened so far is just the tip of the iceberg.

So we go to find mr urokodaki to say goodbye.

"Mr urokodaki we have to go were going to miss you" we said and we live and continue our adventure
