New Breathing Style (Ice Breathing)

Sakura's POV

The kids waited in anticipation as they awaited my next saws. I smiled slightly as I looked at them. "Tanjiro-kun, this is about your sister." the young boy looked at me in surprise. "About Nezuko? W-What do you mean?" he asked.

"You need not worry child. Your sister is not in danger or any of the sort. In fact, she is going to be blessed later on." as those words leave my mouth, I knew in my heart that these children
do not need to know about what has to come. They need to focus on their journey first.

"Blessing? What do you mean by that mother? We do not understand. We know that Nezuko is different than other demons, but is something more to her than meets the eye?" asked Ichika as she stares with a serious expression.

I nodded. "Nezuko will be able to receive something every demon desires. But take caution, for this blessing is the target for other's lust." I answered. Not wanting to make these children worry, I did not bother to tell them what blessing was about to be bestowed upon Nezuko. The guilt creeping in my chest is agonising.

"Mother, are you sure that is all? I beseech you mother. Do tell this daughter of yours." I smiled through the pain and caressed my daughter's hair. "There is nothing more to tell my snowflake." I gently kissed Yui's forehead.

The smile on my face diminished when she left. I held my left hand that was slightly trembling. I know. I know that what I did was wrong, but that man must not know. If ever I told those young ones the truth, that man will know for sure. So I must be aware of my surroundings more.

After the young ones ate their snacks, I went outside and released my crow. I gave the antidote to her as I smiled fondly. "To think that my daughter finally found someone she loves. As a mother, I am proud." I said to myself. I raised my arm and my crow flew to where my soon-to-be son-in-law resides in.

Ichika's POV

"Goodbye Auntie. We'll visit again soon." I said as I waved at her with a smile at my face. "Thank you again for the antidotes." Tanjiro said as he bowed and waved.

As me and the others walked to the destination our feathery friends told us to go to, I kept thinking about what Auntie said. She looked nervous. Anxious even. I hummed and ran my hand through my purple locks. I have a feeling she's not telling us something, and that's about Nezuko.

I glanced at the box Tanjiro was carrying. My curiosity is killing me, but I know that there's a reason why Auntie never said anything. I feel like Yui knows that Auntie was hiding something but doesn't mind since she's her mother.

And also because Auntie isn't the type of person to lie to her daughter unless it's necessary. I narrowed my eyes as I saw a yellow blur in the distance. "Who is that?" Yui asked as she pointed to the direction where the yellow person was.

I tilted my head in curiosity as I watched closely and saw that the person was kneeling in front of a girl. Wait, is he...is he proposing? What the heck? I giggled. This blonde boy. He's amusing in some ways. "What is he doing?!" Tanjiro of course, being the kind person he is went to help the poor girl.

I glanced at Yui and saw her put a hand on her mouth to stop her from laughing. I grinned and watched the scene unfold in front me. Tanjiro was scolding the boy that women shouldn't be treated that way. My eyes soften.

He's a sweet boy. He doesn't deserve to lose his family. I know that he's an amazing brother, and that this is his brother instincts kicking in to protect the girl. And from the looks of it, blondie hasn't noticed our presence yet.

"ARE YOU INSANE?!? I'M JUST GOING TO DIE ANYWAY!! SO I WANT TO GET MARRIED BEFORE I DIE!!" the blonde yelled.

Me and Yui couldn't take it anymore. We laughed out loud. I was holding my stomach as I couldn't help but tear up from the laughing. As I calmed down I looked at the two boys and wiped a tear from my eye.
