Dense Boi

The teacher walked into the class and started to teach immediately. As the class was going to be over soon, she made an announcement.

Children I have a group project for you guys! There were a couple of groans heard. You all will be in the group of 3 and will cover a specific country or any form of culture. I have decided the groups already.

Kim, Sabrina and Chloe ; Ivan, Mylene, Nathaniel ; Rose, Adrien and Max ; Alya, Marinette and Nino ; Alix, Lila and Juleka.

The class was over, every body got into their assigned groups and were talking about the project.

~With Alya's group~

Hey why don't we take a cultural dance form of any Country! I can play the song, what say dudettes? Exclaimed Nino.

"Awesome idea Nino!" Alya snickered.

"I don't know how to dance" Mari whined.

"Girl this could be your chance at getting noticed by Adrien. Seeing you shaking your hips he would be flattered"  Alya said with a smirk.

"You think that would help? "Marinette asked.

"It's worth a shot right!" Nino said.

They had two weeks to work on the project. Ayla's group had decided to do Rumba, a Cuban dance. Marinette had decided to make the outfits and had taken the required measurements.

After a week at practice,

"Mari you need to move your hips more" Alya whined.

"It's hard Alya! I will never do good and Adrien will never notice me and I won't get married and have two kids and a Hamster........ " Mari argued

Alya and Nino facepalmed after Mari finished her rant.

"Listen Mari, the teacher doesn't expect us to be perfect but we should at least show that we have tried to make it perfect and make her believe that we gave our best. Work on your hip movement until our next practice. Ok? " Alya said in a commanding tone.

"Yeah sure Alya, I will practice at home" Mari said understanding what her best friend just said.

"Hey Mari, how are costumes coming?"  Nino asked.

"Almost done Nino. Just need to put on a few finishing touches"  Said Mari

" That's great and we should head home now, its quite late already" Alya said.

~At Marinette's Home~

She went home and completed working on their dresses. She then went down to take some snacks as she was hungry with all the work she had done. After finishing she decided that she had to practice.

Mari pulled put the video  from which they were learning the steps and practiced her hip movements, swaying them from side to side and circling. Suddenly her practice was interrupted by a certain black cat.

CN: Hey purr-incess!

Mari: Hi Chat, why are you here?

CN: Mew-och can't a knight visit his purr-incess?

Mari: Of course, he can but can you please inform this knight that his princess is busy today and won't be able to spend time with him.

CN: What are you doing, purrhaps I can help you with your work!

Marinette motioned him to come in her room.

Mari: We have been given a project at school and our group is doing a dance. Alya told me that I needed more practice so I was doing that.
