Chapter 1

Daniel's POV

Two months na nakalipas when I graduated college. Ang hirap pala maghanap ng trabaho. Palipat lipat nalang ako ng pinapasukan, ganon daw talaga pag baguhan. Isang gabi, yung pinsan ko na nagtatrabaho sa isang kompanya, sinabi sakin na may job opening daw sakanila at sakto daw yon sakin, it's connected to my course eventually. She told me that ayusin ko na daw resume ko kasi bukas daw iintroduce niya ko sa boss. I told my parents about it nung dinner and of course they are happy. I also prepare that night my resume and ofcourse my application speech.

I woke up very early and excited. Sheila told me that she's going to fetch me so I won't spend money anymore. Nakarating na kami sa company, and it was so big. Nagulat ako dahil sa parking lot palang ang lawak na at hanggang fourth floor pa. Sheila told me to be less nervous because the boss is not that strict naman daw. Ofcourse kahit sinabi niya yon, kakabahan padin ako kase mag-aaply palang ako. 

Yung work area ni Sheila ay nasa 28th floor lang, pinauna niya na ako sa 32nd floor kung saan ako iinterviewhin. Napakalawak ng  bawat floor, kaya't ganon nalang kadami ang elevator, sabi pa nga ni Shiela noon meron daw 12 elevators and 3 staircases. Nung nakarating nako sa 32nd floor nagulat ako kilala ako nung secretary don, yun pala ay sinabi na ni Shiela ang tungkol sakin. Apat lang daw kami na mag-apply, swerte daw ako kasi nakasama ako dahil 4 out 250 lang daw ang pagpipilian. Napangiti nalang ako bigla. Pinaupo muna ako nung secretary, nagpakilala siyang Alyssa. One hour pa bago magsimula yung interview, dun daw muna sa right hand ng CEO unang pupuntahan, kung sino daw mapili niya ay didiretso na sa boss. 

Another hour na din ang nakalipas nung tinawag ako. Arthur yung pangalan nung right hand ng boss. He told me to sit down, he was just going to drink water, he even ask me if I want some. I was happy knowing that the people here are humble. The first thing that Arthur asked was my name. Nagpakilala ako ng ganto

: Hi, I'm Daniel C. Martinez. I'm a graduate of Bachelor of Business Management, and I would like to apply for Marketing Manager in your company Sir.

He giggles a little bit. Nakikita ko sa mata niya na natutuwa siya. After that he interviewed me already for about 30 minutes. Nung lumabas ako sa room na 'yon, sinaniban kaming apat na applicants na mag lunch muna. Pwede daw kami kumain sa mga restaurant sa ground floor. I was amazed, this building have franchise of some popular fast-food and restaurant.

Justin's POV

"So how's the applicants ?" the first thing I asked about to Arthur, nakapili ka naba ? I'm just going to wait for your choice. Just knock on my office later. After couple of minutes, Arthur knocked on my door. He said that he can't decide between two applicants, so he let me to decide. The two applicants are a boy named Daniel and a girl named Bianca. I've read both of thier resume and I'm really amazed in one of them. I called Arthur, and asked him told him to hire Daniel. After that I took my lunch, and saw the applicants. They are all good looking. My girlfriend Jasmine called me and asked me if I want to have lunch with her, ofcourse I agreed. I told Claire, my secretary, to tell later, the newly hired marketing manager to wait for an hour.

It's really traffic this afternoon, I don't want to be late to my lunch date. Jasmine decided to eat in a expensive restaurant. It was her family's favorite restaurant. Jasmine offered me the best-selling steak in that restaurant and after we eat, I brought her to the department store and bought her some new clothes.

Daniel's POV
Tapos na ako kumain ng lunch. Tinawag na kami ni Ms.Alyssa at sasabihin na daw ni Sir Arthur kung sino ang kukunin nila. Kinakabahan ako habang nasa elevator. I want this job and I'll have it, sabi ko sa ko sa sarili ko. Nung nasa room na kami ni Sir Arthur at kinausap kami, bigla akong napangiti nung sinabi niyang ako kukuhanin nila, dahil sabi daw nung boss suit daw yung job sakin.

Ms. Alyssa instructed me to go in the boss' secretary in this way. There I met Ms.Claire, tinanong niya ako kung pede bako mag-antay ng onti, ofcourse yes sabi ko naman. Maya maya, tumawag sakin si Sheila at kinamusta ako. Ang saya niya mung sinabi ko na natanggap ako at proud daw siya. She will treat me later daw. Narinig ko yung Claire na nag good-afternoon, baka andyan na yung boss. Exactly when I stood up para ako magbukas, nakapasok na siya. I greeted him good-afternoon.

;Hi Sir! Good afternoon po, I'm Daniel Martinez. Thank you for hiring me Sir.

;Good afternoon Mr. Martinez, take a sit and let's discuss more about your application. By the way I'm Justin Falcon.

Inutusan niya si Ms. Claire na tawagin yung Assisstant Manager for Marketing and asked to get drinks for 3. Nung dumating na yung Asst. Manager, Sir Justin introduce us to each other. Her name is Peachy. We discussed everything about the work. That took us an hour, I'll start my formal work sa makalawa based sa pinag-usapan namin. It's for the old Marketing Manager to clean and say goodbye. After we talked is the exact time Sheila's out. We will go to the mall to have merienda bilang libre saken.

Justin's POV

I'm glad to meet that Daniel huh, his grades was better than mine. I'm sure he will do his work right. Those things are flying in my thoughts until Jasmine came to office. I was surprised because she knows that it's still my working hours yet she went here. Luckily there are no meetings today, so I asked her if she want to go to our house. "Mom and Dad there" I said. She agreed but she wants to buy food for them first. We bought foods from different stores and headed to my house. She also took dinner there, and leave afterwards. I let my driver bring her home.

I went to my office, and open my laptop. I was checking my emails and I saw the application forms of the applicants a while ago. I managed to read Daniel's resume, and I was amazed again. I can see a better leadership for the Marketing group.

My dad suddenly called me to his office, and she's with mom. They want to ask me about how's the company. We also talked about the mother company that is on the other city.

Justin's POV
Pagka-uwi ko pinag-usapan namin nila mama at papa kung anong nangyare. Masaya silang malaman na natanggap ako kaya't naman magluluto si Mama bukas ng paborito kong ulam. Pagkatapos namin kumain, ay nagligo ako at pumunta na sa kwarto ko. Nag video call kami ni Sheila para iintroduce niya saken yung company and all of it's history. That's for me to know everything.
