Chapter 2

Daniel's POV

Ngayon na ang first day ko sa work ko. Maaga ako nagising to make sure na hindi ako malalate. Umalis ako sa bahay ng 4:30 am para sa 6:30 am na pasok. Nakarating ako sa office ng 6:20 dahil sobrang traffic. Nakakahiya pa doon, nakasabay ko pa si Sir Justin sa elevator, bigla niya akong kinamusta tas ngumita pa siya.

;So how are you Mr. Martinez ? *smiles*

;I'm fine Sir, how about you?

;I'm fine as well, I assume it's traffic. Are you commuting ?

I answered him yes, exactly that time I reached the floor where I am going to office. Namangha ako kasi ang laki ng office ko. Nakakatuwa den at may mga bumati sakin sa first day ko. Agad agad naman ako nagsimula magtrabaho, after 2 hours pinatawag ako ng CEO. "Huh? First day na first day ko, ano kaya sasabihin" sabi ko sa sarili ko.

I reached his office with a smile but I'm nervous inside. I was about to approach him but he did it first. Nagtataka parin ako bakit niya ako ipapatawag. Nagsabi siya na be prepared for lunch, ipapakilala daw niya ko sa...

*Justin's phone rings*
:Let me excuse for a minute.

"Saan niya ako ipapakilala?" pagtataka ko sa sarili ko. Halos 2 minutes din siyang may kausap. Nung natapos sila, tinuloy niya na yung sasabihin niya, ipapakila daw niya ako sa board tsaka sa parents niya. It's for them to know because yung position ko daw sa company ay one of the most important daw.

:Prepare for lunch later Mr. Martinez, we'll have a lunch meeting by the neighbor restaurant.
;Yes, sir I will.

Bumababa nako sa office para magtrabaho ulet pero biglang pumasok sa isip ko kung ilang taon na kaya siya, try kong tanungin mamaya.

Justin's POV
*On the phone*
:Yes mom, I've told him already about the lunch. I'll bring Arthur and Claire with us.
: That's nice Justin, see you later.

I keep on thinking why do they need to meet him, like it's really important to them. Well, I have meeting with an investor this time, I've got to leave for a while.

It's really traffic *calls Arthur*
: Hey Arthur, I think I'll be late for later's lunch, kindly go first with Daniel and Claire first.
:Copy my best friend. We'll be there as early as we can.

*arrives on meeting place with the investor*

I have arrived on time. I hurriedly to see him on his reserved table. We've talked about the possible investment, but he said that we must talk with our marketing manager by our side. Well I agreed on that thing. I said to myself, it seems that Mr. Martinez and I must have bond together. *giggles*
The meeting already ended, I looked at the time and it seems that I'll make lunch on time.

*calls Arthur*
:Hey Arthur, I'm on my way. Better be on the restaurant now.
; I'll call Mr. Martinez and we'll be there.

Daniel's POV
Nagtatrabaho ako ng maayos ng biglang pumunta si Sir Arthur sa office ko, sabi niya needed na daw namin pumunta sa restaurant para mas mauna daw kami sa board members at Justin's parents.
"Let's just meet downstairs, Sir. I've got to fix my table for a while."
Pumayag naman siya at umalis. Pinatay ko na yung computer at nagcr muna. I prepared myself, sobrang kabado nako ngayon. Ano kaya masasabi ko, baka kung ano ano nalang. I called Sheila habang papunta sa ground floor, I told her everything and she, herself was shocked.

:Did you know that you're the first marketing manager that Sir Justin's parents wants to meet ?
; Seriously ? Why are they going to do that?
:I don't know, but maybe they are amazed by your resume. Usually they see some resumes of applicants.

Nag-goodbye nako kase pupunta na kami sa restaurant, kinakabahan parin ako. Nung nakarating na kami sa restaurant, wala pa doon yung kikitain namin so naghanda nako. Nung dumating sila natulala nalang ako, they really look like majesties. Ang ganda nila manamit, ang gaganda ng gamit nila, meron pa silang security. Like, gulat na gulat ako. Maya maya, dumating nadin yung mga board members at tsaka si Sir Justin. Nag-order na kami ng foods at nagstart na mag introduce.

Justin's POV
When I arrived, my parents are here already. I look at Daniel and he seems nervous, so I let him to introduce first. Everyone was nice to him, I saw him comfortable a little bit. My mom wants to talk about the company situation but I stopped her, I said "This meet up is just for formal introduction to my company's board members, and you only want to meet my marketing manager, right ?"

She wasn't able to do anything so we started to talk happily. I called the waiter and asked him to give us wine. I didn't know that Daniel was a joker, I really like his charisma. He made us really happy that time. After our lunch, we went to the company together with Arthur and Claire. I asked him how is he and I compliment him for being funny.

: You're such a funny person Mr. Martinez huh ?
;Huh ? Hmm yes sir, I love making people happy *giggles*
:I like your personality.
;*blushed* That's a compliment sir, thank you.

We reached the company and went to each other's offices and get back to work.

Daniel's POV
Pagkatapos ng lunch na yon, nakaramdam ako ng onting relief. Ang babait nila. Free time ko pala so bumaba ako sa canteen, andun din sa Ms. Claire. Siya unang lumapit sakin, nag-usap kami about sa nangyari kanina.

:Ikaw Daniel ha, nagblush ka kanina sa sinabi ni Sir, hmmm.
;Huh ? Anong blush hahaha, di ako ganon. Natutuwa lang ako dahil napuri ako.
:Kung ganon, let's be friends nalang.

We became friends, at nagkwento kami ng mga bagay about sa life namin. Ang gaan kausap ni Claire, and I guess we will became best friends. Habang nasa office ako, pagkabukas ng phone ko, may notifications sa social media. Nahanap ni Claire account ko, hala hahahaha.

Natapos na yung work time ko, at uuwi na. Traffic nanaman, rush hour. Pagka-uwi ko, sinalubong ako nila mama ng malaking congrats for your first day at nagluto siya ng pansit. Ang saya ko talaga at natapos ko ang araw na to sa trabaho ng maayos.

Patulog nako ng bigla kong maalala yung sinabi ni Claire na nagblush ako kanina. Tinry ko alalanin, at napangiti nanaman ako. Pero bawal pala, bawal.....
