We kept silent the rest of the flight, we weren't very good attended, and the stewardesses threw us nasty looks when they passed by. When we finally arrived, we didn't make a mess. After what happened? Apart from that I had many questions like why do people get angry? Or why do you throw up when you feel sick?
When we arrived at the hotel we divided everybody in rooms. Natalia Maria Samira and I slept in one room, while Joaquin and Renato slept in another room with other boys.
" guys do I still smell like throw up?" I asked
" no, thank god there exists showers in Egypt!" Said Samira. I put on my pijamas and took out my bed sheets.
" today was a day right?" I asked
"Sure! From today in 20 years we will still tell the story of Joaquin the three upper." We laughed I imagined Samira telling her kids the story of the airplane and airport. We went to sleep at about 11.
I coughed. My throat was raspy and it hurt. I turned on the light. And I realized. There were strings everywhere , and jelly all over the floor. I shrieked. The rest of the girls woke up suddenly too. They shrieked just like I did. I tried to move slowly but the stings were everywhere. I tripped with one of them and fell ford flat on my face. Maria tried to move but she moved like a turtle with her feet sticking with the jelly. For about 2 hours we all fell and slipped and bumped into things. Then was when we heard a maniacal laughter coming from the closet. Samira practically skated throw the floor and opened the closet door. There stood two maniacs with a red face: Joaquin and Renato.
" JOW DARE YOU!" Yelled Samira. They burst out laughing and we could see why: our face was covered in jelly while Natalia was all tangled with the strings. I had jelly dripping down the point of my nose and ears.
"Sorry- we-just-had-to" they said through laughs. Samira angrily pushed Joaquin and Joaquin grabbed Renatos hand. We watched as they glided throw the floor, Joaquin bumped against the bed and then when he tried to stand up, kept falling and falling once and twice and trice and on and on. So Joaquin when he finally managed to stay up, turned off the light and the show began. Everybody falling and gliding and skating and bumping, but soon the show was stopped by a angry looking monster teacher. She yelled at us for nearly an hour saying how they would have to pay for the hotel to clean, and how we have caused to much trouble and how this wasn't part of he plan etc. the point is, sleeping in the lobby with sleeping bags, wasn't the best detention idea, but it was sure
hard.
