We felt the cold air freeze our body. Renato stared at us, paler than ever, Samiras eyes shading and wriknling, Joaquins hair "Bathed" on wet cold water, Marias hands as blue as if someone couldnt breathe, and my lips purple. We defenetly hadent imagined how cold it would be down here, it had been underground for more than 60 years, after many storms, it would be soaking wet. More droplets of water joined our frozen bodies as we walked through an empty passage.
"OUCH!" exclaimed Renato as he fell.

"Whata-" I said

"Sorry! Bumped into this string!" he replied getting up

"Why would there be a sring in here?" asked Maria. Suddenly, everything started to move, and it all went pitch black.

"Renato what did you bump into!" I complained

"How am I supposed to know! I am not an archeologist!"

"Guys did you hear that?" said Samira. We all stoped talking. Stood as frozen as a statue and listened. There sure was a sound comming from the end of the passage. It was like someone slamming a door. We heard that several times. As we all moved closer together and turned on our lanterns. The sound stopped. As we werent expecting, our lanterns suddenly turned off and truned on,

"Guys look at that!" we all turned around at what Joaquin was pointing. It was a shadow! At least for what we saw, until our lanterns got off. Nobody moved, nobody spoke, nobody brethed, when, the torches around us lit up again. We let out a gasp of relief. There was, Renatos little mummy. On the floor.

"Wait a minute!" said Maria

"We all freaked out about this?" said Samira

"Whata-" said Renato picking up his mummy.

"But then why would we see a shadow?" asked Joaquin

"Dunno" I said.

"Hey look! I didnt notice my mummies eyes were red!" said Renato pointing at it. We shook our heads. Then everything became pitch black again.

"OH COME ON!" said Renato "Didnt they have energy back then!" he said

"Renato!" I said  "Its over 60 years ago! I am sure they didnt have electricity!"

"Guys!" Said Maria poking us "What is that" she said with a trembling voice. We stared at the same red eyes Renatos mummy had. ALl of us exept Joaquin, he was trying to fix his lantern.

"MY MUMMY!"  yelled renato

"Wait, our momys are here?" he asked (get it, mummy and mommy sounds the same)

"no, MY MUMMY!"

"Ohh, dont freak out" he said. Then he spotted the red eyes. "Its enough to freak out" he said. We all screamed. Screamed like we had never done before. Ran like we were chased by a dead body about to kill us, because we were. We ran as we heard the growlings and hisses of the mummy.

"I think- the writing- was right!" I said "It will- posses- everything!"

"YOU THINK SO!?" said Renato sarcastically.

"Guys I think we lost it." said Samira slowing down. we were all brething heavily. Our minds couldnt belive what had just happened.

"King tutts spirit- just possesed- renatos- mummy" said Maira with big breaths.

"Now thats a problem" said Samira.

"Ok ok, lets just not freak out!" Said Joaquin "We just need to find our way out as soon as possible!"

"But dude! We already are like half way! There will be traps, and gaurds and spirits all around!" said Renato

"Yeah! Grate idea Joaquin!" said Isabel sarcastically

"Dont worry, we will be there home, safe, by tommorow" said Joaquin
