Amongs Us

Mew opened his eyes to find himself in bed with Gulf holding him tightly in his arms. Frowning he wondered how they got here.

Mew watched Gulf sleeping, his breathing even. Mew's hand was poised just above his cheek, an inch away from stroking the backs of his fingers against his cheek when Gulf suddenly said, "Still as ruggedly handsome," Gulf rumbled without opening his eyes. "as you found me last night, Mewnie."

Blushing Mew quickly pulled back.

"Good morning." Mew hid his face in Gulf's chest. Gulf chuckled at his shyness.

"Good morning." Gulf ran his fingers along Mew's spine causing the older man to jump.

Gulf smirked and went into Mew's neck to bite gently.

Mew moaned. "Gulf! Not so early in the morning." Gulf chuckled.

Gulf moaned when he pulled Mew closer to him. He loved the feel of Mew's soft skin against his. He leaned down to lick it.

Blushing Mew tried to push him off. "Not going to work." Gulf huskily whispered. He rolled over so that Gulf was on top.

Gulf was about to kiss him senseless when a knock interrupted them. "Mew! I got a call from Suppasit Publishing. They want a word with you now. It's urgent."

"Th…Thank you Vi! Gulf gets off." Mew tried to push the slightly smaller man off him but he wouldn't budge. Gulf growled as he reluctantly got off. Mew headed to the closet to go change.

"How did you start running Suppasit Publishing?" Gulf asked as he admired Mew's body in the soft light.

"I loved to read and I got bored doing nothing everyday so I decided to try it, but didn't think it would go anywhere."

"Is this the only place you live?"

Mew shook his head as he put on his tie, not paying attention to where Gulf was. "There are seven other houses around the world. But this one is my favorite."

Mew jumped as Gulf quietly hugged Mew from behind. "What am I going to do by myself?"

"Uh…you could…I don't know." Mew didn't know if he liked to read, he had a beautiful l library at the end of the hall or if he would like to go out in the back yard to view the large garden with different kinds of flowers planted.

He didn't know that much about Gulf and it flustered him.

Seeing the cute struggle on his face, Gulf softened. He kissed his cheek.

"I'm going to look around since I didn't get a chance yesterday." Mew nodded hesitantly. Gulf drew his head back and kissed him. "Come back to me quickly." Gulf breathed.

Blushing Mew nodded and shifted to Suppasit Publishing.

Gulf lazily went out the room to see what other secrets his little Mate hid here.

"Ah, Gulf! Did Mew already leave?" Vi was in the kitten cooking, an older woman sat at the dining table. "Oh, this is my grandma."

Gulf bowed "Ma'am." The old woman just smiled.

Vi smiled sheepishly, "She wanted to see Mew since it's been a while."

"I see, he said it wouldn't be long before he came back." The woman nodded happily.

"Well then would you like to eat?" Vi asked. Gulf shook his head.

"No, thank you I'm just going to look around."

"Then if you want to relax there is a hot spring near here, or read at our grand Library." Gulf perked at that. He did love to read.

"Where?" Vi pointed in the direction of a long hallway. Thanking her and again bowing to the older woman he went over and opened the door to find an amazing view.
