Chapter 13~Revenge...

Damon and I were sitting in the Salvatore Boarding house listening to 'I dare you to move' by Switchfoot when Tyler burst in. "The hybrids!", he gasped, "They heard we killed Klaus and since they're all sired, they're coming after us!". "Slow down, wolfy. What the hell are you talking about?!", I yelled. "I was attacked by another hybrid. I tied him up and tortured him to tell me why the hell he was trying to kill me and he said it was 'cause we killed Klaus. The last thing he said was 'the others are coming". He looked frightened. "Well where is this hybrid now?", Damon inquired. "Under Wickery Bridge, burried", Tyler laughed. Damon darted off to the study and returned a few seconds later with a large bag. "Whats in the bag?", I asked. "Everything we need. Ive been prepared for months incase we killed Klaus. I knew his hybrids would attack, it was only a matter of time", Damon smiled. Oh, my man was such a genious! "So what now?", Tyler inquired. "Now, we take one of everything from this bag each and carry 'em at all times. I'll give some to the others later but you 2 should probably get home". Tyler and I grabbed wolfsbane and vervain grenades, wolfs bane and vervain soaked ropes, stakes and basically everything required to kill a dozen hybrids. Tyler set off (with extras for Caroline) and I stayed to say goodbye to Damon. "What if we dont make it Damon? I cant live without you!", I sobbed. "Marissa, we are prepared for everything I can possibly think of. You're not going to lose me. Its going to be okay. We are going to survive this", Damon too, was crying and has his arms round me. "I love you", he whispered. "I love you too", I replied. I quickly kissed him before driving home to protect my family. If this battle was going to take place, I sure as hell wasnt letting anyone I loved die.

I knew I had to tell my family about vampires. I decided that if this was going to happen, we'd all have to stick together. Id already spoken to Damon and he agreed that my family and anyone else involved's families would take up residence in The Salvatore Boarding house for the time being and that the rest of us who were going to fight, would stay at my place. All that was left to do was tell my family and everyone said they'd sit with me whilst I did it.
