Cheaters

Sydney's POV
*The night of the party.*

"Syd, what are you doing?" Hazel asks looking up from her studies. "Getting ready for the party". I reply, applying some makeup. "You said you weren't going" Hazel interjects. "Who said I can't change my mind last minute?" I state glancing at my best friend. She looks at me dumbfounded. "I don't know? It's just I didn't think you wanted to go." Hazel says sorta mumbling. "But I guess it's your decision so go ahead" she adds. I roll my eyes.

She knows me too well.
I know that I already told Shawn no and all, but I can't scratch the feeling that he might be with someone else when I'm not around. So I'm going to find out for myself.

After finishing my makeup I grab my bag and head out the door for the party without another word. I chose to dress a little more casual than I would of liked tonight. But I couldn't focus on my outfit when all I think about is Shawn probably making out with someone else when I'm not around. I guess you could call me the jealous type, but you can't blame me for getting worried. He is my first boyfriend, and I don't know how I would react if he was cheating on me.

*at the party*
"Great, I'm here" I say to myself parking my car in front of Shawn's frat house. I'm not particularly excited to be here as I am not into these kinds of things, but tonight is different. Tonight is the night I find out the truth between Shawn and I.

As I open the door to my car and step out I notice all the people that have already showed up. *Get it together Sydney* I think to myself as I walk towards the door. When I open it I see all the things you would expect at a party. Beer pong, countless drunken games, and more.
I guess I should start to look for Shawn. As I look I realise I can't seem to find him anywhere. "He must be in his room" I conclude.

I walk up the stairs of their frat house going though the halls of what seems to be an endless second story. I have always been surprised of how big these places are. When I reach the door I hear shuffling inside the room. I lift my hand to knock when suddenly the door knob jiggles and the door opens. I stand there stunned as a half naked Shawn looks at me with a completely naked girl behind him. "Sydney" Shawn stutters with all the blood draining from his face.

I start to feel a little dizzy as tears well up in my eyes. Seconds later I find myself running down the stairs out the door and back into my car.

I quickly start the engine and speed back home to Hazel.
