Just A Little Bad

Chapter 13

After Alex, Mark, Matt, Jack and Roman got to my house, I decided to take a shower because it was really hot and I don't like the feeling of dried sweat... ewww.

After getting out of the shower I wrapped my body in a towels and walked out to my room. I decided to put on black High waisted shorts with gold studs by the pockets and a black crop top with a cutout in the back.

I walked downstairs to the game room which is where the boys would most likely be.

"Beau wanna go outside and kick around the ball?" Alex asked as soon as I walked in.

Really? I just showered and now you want me to go back out in the heat and get all sweaty?" I whined.

"Please? Do it for these horribly trained players on our team," Alex replied gesturing to Matt, Mark, Jack, Roman and my brothers.

"Hey speak for yourself, at least I actually work out while you sit on your couch consuming a large pizza by yourself," Mark said flipping Alex off.

"Hey guys, since it's Friday how about we hang out it the back yard... maybe make s'mores and go night swimming," Luke suggested.

Everyone agreed so we al headed to the store to buy supplies and all that crap.

- " Guys make sure you get sour patch watermelons," I yelled after the guys.

We all separated into groups to get different things from each side of the store.

Once again Roman and I were together.

"Alright so we need to get ice cream, cookies, sodas and chips," I told him, trying my best not to talk to him unless I had to.

"Wh-why do you hate me?" Roman said out of nowhere.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean why do you hate me? Sure we started off on a bad note but we have a lot in common,"

"Oh yeah like what?"

"Well, for one we are both great a soccer, even if I'm way better," Roman said smirking as I pushed him.

"See we are getting along now so, why can't it be like this all the time?"

I was about to respond when someone came and tackled me in a hug.

"What the fuck?" I screamed

"Bea!" the person yelled. Only 4 people call me that. My brothers, Tessa and Kane. Considering that it wasn't either of my brothers voices and Tessa is dead, it must be Kane. Unless I'm going insane, again.

"Kane get the fuck off me," I said laughing.

It had been like 5 weeks since I last saw him. My arm even healed and everything. I only have a brace that I wear when I want.

"You were M.I.A for like a month, I deserve a hug from my best friend," Kane laughed while pulling me in for another hug.

He leaned down closer to my ear.

"Who's pretty boy over there?" He whispered into my ear.

"Oh, Roman? He's just- just a fri- a person on the soccer team," I replied hoping he wouldn't notice my hesitation .

Honestly, I don't know if I can call Roman a friend. We fight all the time. Then we have okay moments. I don't trust him but then again, I don't trust anyone.

"Yeah, okay," he said sarcastically. "You like him don't you."

"No, definitely not." But, did I? I mean I find him attractive and all but, then he opens his mouth and his personality shines through.

He laughed and he pulled away.

"Okay tell yourself that but, I know your really in love with me," he said, his voice normal.

I glanced over at Roman who looked very uncomfortable.

"Roman this is Kane, my best friend from New York."

Kane nodded his head towards Roman, him doing the same.

"We are having a bonfire type shit tonight, wanna come?" I asked.

"Sure but I have to go do something first so I'll meet you guys there, bye babe I'll miss you and your beautiful face" he said.

"Bye babe I'll miss you too," I responded, smirking.

That was normal for us because we are weird. Most people are used to us being like that, it's just our friendship.

I looked over to Roman to see his face twisted is confusion and something else I couldn't recognize. I brushed it off and continued looking for the ice cream.

~ we got back to the house and everyone was there including Resa, Lexi and Kane. Our parent are gone on business like usual.

We all decided to play a game of truth or dare. Yes, I know classic game to get people to do sexual things to each other but, we all were a little tipsy from the alcohol we've consumed.

"Beau truth or dare?" Kane asked.

"Dare," I said smirking.

"I dare you..." he stopped thinking. " to kiss hottest person in the room, excluding your brothers obviously."

"Fine," I walked over to Lexi and kissed her cheek.

"Oh my gosh, guys Beau Black thinks I'm hot like oh em gee," she said, like a valley girl.

Kane pouted. "I thought you were gonna kiss me."

Everyone laughed, everyone except Roman.

After a few more turns we all got tired and fell asleep on the grass.
