Jisoo looked at him, wondering why Taehyung seemed so lost in thought. " I'm sorry." He says. "It's just one year, are you okay with that?" His eyes meet hers, frown upon his face. 

" One year and I'll be gone. I should be the one apologizing. Walking into your life like it's nothing." Jisoo whispered. 

" Jisoo, what are you and daddy talking about?" A voice calls. 

" Jisoo and Dad were talking about where we could take you tomorrow because you got good grades."  Taehyung sighs tiredly, smiling at his son. 

" Can we go eat cakes?" The little boy asks, " Soo and I want to eat cakes." The boy pointed to the bear Jisoo gave him. 

" Soo?" Taehyung laughs. 

" Yes! The bear's name is Soo." The boy runs over to Jisoo, asking if she was going to stay over.

" I can't. Daddy wouldn't like that." She laughs and walks toward the door. 

 " Please! Please! Can you stay?!" The boy began to sob, tears falling down his face every second she took a step torwards the exit. 

" Joon.." Taehyung sighs, trying to calm his son down.

" Is she going to leave like Mommy too?" He tugged an yanked the hem of her jacket, and sobbed. 

" Why can't you stop her?" The boy keeps wailing, " You didn't stop mommy." 

Those tears. Jisoo looked so hurt. She remembered when her mother threatened to leave her when the family was stressed. She always thought: " If I ever had a kid, I'd never walk out on them." Her eyes met Taehyung's, and she bent down to hug the little boy. 

" Joon, I won't leave." As she hugs him, she feels his every breath becoming shaky and unstable. 

She glanced over to Taehyung, his eyes becoming red. 

He was trying so hard not to cry...

She handed Joon his bear, and walked over to Taehyung. She didn't understand. Her arms just held him close as she told him not to cry. 

He smelled like fresh snow falling at the beginning of december. 

She liked that. 

Joon came over to hug them both and the three sat close together, wondering how a stranger had so easily made a path to their hearts.
