She is funny, she is an extrovert, and she's eh! charm, simple and cute while she is adorably annoying!
They are so different from each...
"Can I please please please have a phone?" I begged for the hundredth time.
"Not yet... Wait for some years." My mom told me, while getting ready to go. She was a teacher, which meant that my life was surrounded by discipline.
I sighed. I was disappointed but not surprised.
"Okay fine! Just give me yours for a minute before leaving..."
"Alright."
Within fifteen minutes, my mom left. I had taken her phone for a few minutes but to be honest, I didn't have any use of it. I just checked for some messages from my friends, that's it.
In my room, I began staring at a notebook kept on my bed. I picked it up. This notebook had my first ever fanfiction. I had read it about a thousand times and I wanted to publish it. That is the main reason why I wanted a phone.
Just then, my sister walked in.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Nothing, I guess..." After a lot of thinking, I finally asked, "Can I download wattpad in your phone? I know I have asked this before and you said 'no', but please?"
"I need my phone for stuff, you know... And if you download wattpad here, then you will want it all the time!"
"I really wanna publish my book..."
She didn't reply. We had had this conversation before but I always hoped that someday, she will let me download it.
"Fine, I guess... But I will give you my phone for one hour in a day, do whatever you have to do, during that one hour."
I couldn't believe it! My sister had finally allowed me to use her phone? This seemed like a dream.
"Cool! Thank you so much, I owe you one... Eh, when can I download it though?"
"Tomorrow."

The phone was in my hands, wattpad was open and I was about to write the very first words of my very first book. I started writing the them down, it was such a great feeling. After a lot of typing, I managed to finish writing a whole chapter and, with my heart thundering, pressed the publish button.
"Aaaaahhh!" Everyone heard me yell and came running.
"What's wrong?!"
"I just published my first chapter, I can't believe it! And look, it has one view!" I cried in excitement.
"Oh god..." My sister whined.
"What? Its a huge deal for me! I am like a published author now..."
"Congratulations. I wanna read what you wrote!" My mom said, happily.
"Uhm, sure..." I didn't know why, but sharing my work with my parents wasn't making me very comfortable, but I gave it to them anyway.
After what seemed like ages, my parents finished reading the chapter and they looked so proud, they made everything worth it.
I began checking the chapter's views in every five minutes and this annoyed my sister to hell. I didn't even know what to expect, did I honestly think my book will be a hit as soon as I published the first chapter? This thought was laughable.
My life was surrounded by discipline, alright, but my life was also surrounded by literature. My mother was a teacher, but she was a good writer. My father, alongside being a businessman, was a poet, my sister was a published writer in an anthology.

The next day, I exhausted the list of youtube videos on 'how to get your book noticed on wattpad', and most of them suggested to join a community. So, I took the phone and started searching for different communities. Finally, I found one, namely: The Modern Community.
"This is perfect! I just need discord." I squeaked.
"Hey, give me the phone! Its not time yet!" My sister scolded me.
"Oof, my bad..."
Now, I just needed to find a way to download discord. At that moment, to my luck, my father came to me.
"I can bring the laptop home for you." He told me, "You know, so that you can upload your work properly."
"OMG yes! That would be so great, thanks dad!"
I planned everything.
"I will download discord on the laptop, I can also use wattpad on my laptop, I guess. This is all so perfect!" I was so excited that I hadn't even realized I was speaking out loud.
"Shut it." My sister said.
I smiled. My sister acted like she didn't care, but I knew she loved me!
I began to write my diary. I didn't always write in it, but sometimes I did. Today was a pretty awesome day, so I had to tell my diary about it.
After doing that, I went to have my dinner and then I went to sleep. I was so excited about joining discord, I was unable to think about anything else. But when I realized that I need to go to school tomorrow, I heaved a sigh and thought about my homeworks, which made me fall asleep.
