LOUIS' POV:

Once we went on break, I knew that there wasn't anywhere special I wanted to go or anything. I just had an idea ofwho I wanted to spend it with. And that person was Harry. Just because managment wasn't allowing us to 'interact' with each other anymore didn't mean that I automatically had to stop being his friend or stop having feelings for him. That would just be ridiculous and practically impossible.

On the drive to Harry's house, I started thinking about all the questions he might ask me and what we would even do while we were over at his place. I was sort of nervous to see him. I mean, what if he didn't even want me there, what if things were so messed up now he didn't want me around him? What if he saw me as a total stranger to him now? Even worse what if his girlfriend was over there? Talk about awkward...

My hands got sweaty as I kept driving. It was gross, but I was driving. Not my fault that Harry makes me all stupid.

I pulled into his driveway, got out of the car, and walked up to the front door. I hesitantly rang the doorbell and Harry answered almost immediately.

"Louis...what are you doing here?" he asked me.

"I just- I just wanted to spend some time with you. You know we haven't be able to do that lately.." I said with a small shrug.

"Yeah...I know. Come on in." he told me.

I stepped into Harry's house and took a look around. Soon, I found myself looking at him and as soon as our eyes locked, I saw him smile.

"Make yourself at home. You want anything, like water? Juice?" he asked. I shook my head and took off my jacket.

"No, I'm good for now, Hazza. Your company is enough." I said. He smiled at me and I saw him blush a bit. Aww...

Harry walked over to the couch and he sat down at the end and I decided to sit at on the other end because I didn't feel comfortable sitting too close to him just yet.

"So....how have you been?" I asked, trying to break the silence.

He probably was going to give me a bullshit answer like "I've been better" or "I'm pretty good" or "I'm fine", but then again, he should know better.

"To be honest, not so great...I've missed you. These last few months have just been a bit of a struggle for me." he admitted. I felt my heart swell once I heard those words, but I didn't exactly know what to say. I noticed him getting nervous, and I didn't exactly know why he was getting like that.

"I mean, I am just a little lonely, you're my closest friend out of all of them in the band. For them to separate us was just insane, right? You agree that it's insane, right, I mean, taking away our closeness like that, who do they think they are?" he went on to say, ending with a nervous laugh. I smiled and he still seemed nervous.

"Sure, Haz." I said, scooting a bit closer to him. When I did get closer to him, his face flushed and he was full on blushing now. "I guess it is a little weird how they did this, yeah? I mean, you being with Taylor kinda takes a lot of time, though, don't you think?" I went on to say.

Harry didn't answer me for a bit. He seemed to be thinking about what he was going to say. It made me nervous, though. He was taking a little long to respond.

"Sure she does. Of course she does." he said, his voice a little quieter than it just was. I raised an eyebrow at him and smiled.

"You don't seem too sure about that answer, Haz." I told him. In my mind, I thought he would jokingly tell me to "Shut up" because I didn't know what I was talking about or something. But no...that's not what happened.

Instead, he stared at me blankly and his face grew a little pale. I was a little thrown off by that, I had to admit. I mean, what was wrong with what I said? I didn't say anything wrong, did I?

"I-I mean, you c-could be totally sure about this, who am I to judge, r-right?" I stuttered, not exactly knowing what to say to make it better. He blushed again, and full on blushing too.

"Yeah, I am, Tommo, don't judge me like that." he joked nervously, gently punching my arm. I laughed nervously.

"Hey, you sure you don't want water because, wow, I can really go for some water. You know what, I am going to get us both some nice, ice cold water. Just one second, okay?" Harry said, kinda rambling if you asked me.

I smirked at him as he got up and went to the kitchen. I just watched him go, being that I was so confused on the last five minutes of our conversation. The second I said her name, he choked up and barely had anything to say anymore. I would think that he would have quite a bit on the topic of her, but I guess not. Maybe she just isn't doing her job of being a good girlfriend correctly.
