Dear all-knowing,
how to people
get their prayers
answered and
better yet heard?
said a little prayer
it wasn't in whisper
nor wasn't screamed
was enough to be heard
after a few days
no one answered
prayed again
hoping to be heard
is anyone even listening? are you listening all-knowing?
how do
religious people
keep up
with their devotion
they say that
if it's about him
it's never tiring
but I see hidden sighs
sighs that are visible
as they turn
their backs away
from the people
what's their driving fuel? what is it that they have that I don't?
how do people
keep up with life
my father said
living is tiring
and one said
crying is living
it wasn't confusing
nor amusing
