Inochi X Reader Chapter 3D

[Perspective: Second person]

　"Light it up!" You shouted. Inochi sparked the lighter, Flame came from it, Inochi held the fuse up to the flame, the fuse began to burn. "Please work..." Inochi prayed, hoped with everything he had, that the fuse works properly, that your judgement of time was correct, that his plan could work

　You were in the shrine, with him, thinking the same thing. You put your hand on his shoulder as both of you watched the fuse head towards the fireworks. "We got this Inochi..." You spoke.

　The winds blew, the dragon drew close. You can sense it's presence. The trees started rustling, The Ground started shaking, You can hear it. The Burloth has come to take back it's head. It approached the head. It approached the fireworks.

　"Come on!" Inochi screamed, The fireworks launched upwards, Straight into the dragon. The dragon's skin burned, and the fireworks blew up, right infront of you. Inochi closed the shrine door to prevent any of it from harming the both of you.

　You can hear it, the Dragon's pain, the fireworks blowing up. It filled the room, it filled your ears, hell, through the sliding door, you could see the bright lights, the brightest you've seen since coming to this city, the fireworks, that you and the BackPacker, setup.

　You smiled, Inochi jumped in excitement. "Hahah! We did it!" His bad seemed to enjoy itself as well. "We did it!" The Dragon writhed in pain, until the fireworks were over. You both looked outside.

　There it was, the corpse of a dead dragon. The end of Inochi's mission, along with your end of hatred towards the monsters. "Hell yes!" Inochi ran towards the dragon, Took his bag out and swung it. The bag ate a chunk of it's cooked-ish corpse. He kept swinging, and swinging out of joy.

　A few minutes pass, and Noppo reaches the top of the mountain, along with a few other Monsters, coming to check out the scene. "We did it everyone!" Inochi announced as he ran towards the monsters.

　You walked towards them. "We did it..." You said, quietly, but it still counted. "Alright, you all can have a great feast tonight!" The monsters cheered both you and Inochi on, Noppo joined in too. You both smiled and laughed next to each other. As though you were friends, instead of co-workers.

　You stopped for a moment, and looked at Inochi. "Inochi?" You asked. He curiously replied. "Hmm?" He looked back at you, the glimmer in his eyes from the moon in the night sky, showed. "I..." You pause. "No, Let's... Let's keep working together!" You said with a smile on your face.

　You bow infront of him. "Lift your head." Inochi replied. He held out his hand, Palm open. You smiled even wider than before. He smiled along with you, as you shook hands. He tilted his head. "I look forward to it!" The BackPacker cheerfully said, as though he was a different person. You worked along side him,  The BackPacker, along with you You, the Reader.
