Nobody's POV

The trio stayed at home for the rest of the week as Liu had already arranged. They got to know each other better, cleaned up the whole house, prepared a room for Hyunjin to stay at, and had so much fun.

But Hyunjin was still kind of sad because of his parents' behavior. How was he supposed to understand other people and know stuff when his parents never showed him? It was hard for him, but he'll manage. He's around people he loves and they love him too. Liu is there for him, Jeongin, Changbin, and Felix as well.

The next week

Hyunjin's POV

It was amazing these past few weeks with the Yang family, they were interested in what I like, what I would want to do in the following days, whether it is a school project or something silly in my personal life. They cheered me up, took care of me. Mom scolded me for not taking enough care of myself and taught me a few helpful things. With Jeongin it was all games and fun, he even knew how to take care of a child and how to cook very delicious meals. I was honestly very amazed by his skills overall. He is a very sweet and loving person like his mother.

Today we went to school together for the first time, everyone was staring at us very confusingly like why would I hang out with someone so weird, right? Of course, I will hang out with Jeongin, he's practically my family now and I'm very grateful to him for accepting me. A rich kid like me doesn't want to be even rich. This is so sad that people try to get together with rich people for their money, not really loving the latter. I hope I'll never get into a toxic relationship like that. Even if I stayed single for my whole life, I just need the people I love in my life. They're my everything as much as I personally know.

Since we had every class with mom, it was going to be a great year. For the first subject, we had Maths which many people didn't like, but can we change our subjects? Of course no. We had to go with it, but I think it's fine if it's with Mrs. Yang, hehe <3

We took notes of what was currently on the board and then talked with our teacher for the rest of the class. We had 5 more classes to attend today. I sat with Jeongin the entire time and we didn't even talk that much during the school hours, only at lunch with Changbin and Felix. Changbin said that his friends were busy training at the school field, so they couldn't join us for today. This is fine with me because I needed to inform mainly Changbin on what's happened these past few days and why was I absent last week.

He was shocked but relieved that nothing happened to me at my "home" with my oh-so-loving parents. If I was happy then he was happy as well, he said. I felt bad for leaving my parents on the torn page of my story, but it will be better that way. I know they don't even care if I'm absent from that house because I heard them talking about abandoning me too. Why did they have me if they didn't want such a useless kid like me in their eyes? Not that I do something useful, but you get my idea.

Felix didn't say a word, he was looking rather angry for some reason. It was bugging me, so I had to ask him what's wrong. I don't want him to feel perhaps uncomfortable?

"Uhm, Felix?" - Hyunjin

He looked at me in astonishment at the sudden address of his name, smiling nevertheless afterward. I whispered to him if he could side with me for a while. The other two looked unbothered by the situation and let us talk in private.

"I don't want to trigger you in any way, but why did you look angry so suddenly after I finished about sudden events in my life?" - Hyunjin

Felix stayed silent for a few seconds before speaking.
