As shock slowly left me. And my courage level rose higher, I started to think more survival mode.
That is when we came up with the idea to leave this floor, and try to make it to the first floor and out of the building. Which may have sounded easy but wasn't going to be.
I figure since the other tower collapsed, it won't be long before our tower does and we definitely don't want to be in it when it does.
We started to exit the floor, trying to reach the end of the hallway. Moving around debri, ash, and worst of all the lifeless. Which seem to be scattered around every where. I tried not to let them get to me. But I know if I survived I will have nightmares later.
We eventually reached the end of the hallway, and started to climb down the stairs, which weren't as bad as our floor. As we for about three more floors down we started to hear yelling and other unfamiliar noises. But people were definitely coming up the stairs. And that in itself was enough hope for me, to continue to climb down the stairs.
