CH. 24 Meeting the family

Previously in CH. 23:

Pitch healed all there wounds as that ended the wolf came rushing back towards them the guardians and others began to get ready for an attack but pitch told them he'll handle it. He made his bow and arrows appear then rushed at the beast aiming for its eye he shot at it hitting his mark as it was distracted with that he ran faster to it then slid under it and used his claws to cut its underbelly then when he was behind it ran jumped and was on top it at it tried to get him off pitch dug his claws into its back and started to tear it apart. Every wound pitch inflicted on it it got weaker and smaller. It used all its strength to fling pitch into the air. Mother nature and Sandy took ahold of the fearling to keep it still as pitch was readying a arrow using one of kozs last light arrows he thanked Sandy and mother nature with a nod then he shot it hitting the wolf's forehead dead center and then it became so bright none of then could keep there eyes open to see. The fearlings were gone destroyed as soon as that arrow went off they were now more at least the ones that were still not captured. Pitch was now falling his dark like form long since lost now he was back to his old new self the others yelled at him and tried to get to him before he hit the ground but something or someone beat them to it catching pitch mid fall just a few feet away from the ground below.

(Jacks pov)

That asshole how could he go back there leaving me and the kids.

Manny he had me come here to heal you and he left to stop that fearling from getting you or your kids.

I look at manny not happy how can he be so so ugh!! Thats it I'm go in after him.

Manny like he'll you are your still recovering even after I healed you you still need rest and your not leaving me with your kids.

I cant just sit here and do nothing while there out there risking there lives I've got to help them I've got to help pitch please manny just watch them for a little bit.

Manny fine but you better hurry back.

As soon as jack flies off to get to pitch manny says to himself I hope I don't regret this.

Jack flies faster to get there he sees a bright light come from that direction he hurries and he sees pitch falling he rushing in and catches him in time. The guardians get closer to pitch and the person that caught him ready to attack but then lowered their weapons relising its jack then they hear jack yelling at pitch and hitting him.

Jack HOW DEAR YOU LEAVE ME AND THE KIDS TO GO FIGHT!!

Pitch jack stop it!

Jack I wont stop you asshole I'm fucking pissed at you right now!

Pitch jack calm down! I had to leave to protect you guys! And have Manny save you!

Jack what if it was to late for me and I died while you were digging and you ended up dead because of those things huh! Our kids wouldn't have any parents you could of stayed and protecting them instead of running off to risk your life! Jack had stopped hitting pitch and had his head buried into pitchs chest crying. What if I did survive and you lost your life fighting I cant lose you to, I cant.

Pitch didn't say a thing and just hugged the crying jack tightly he lifted his head up for jack to see him pitch wiped away his tears I know darling I know I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you had died. I'm so sorry I left you and the kids but it was for your own good I promise.
