SEOL AH : How do you feel? About the whole thing?

NJ : I don't know. Feel like this is not what I was chasing for. How good it would've been if... If none meddled with any's working and just peacefully kept on living their own ways?

Seol Ah stayed quiet, wanting his remark remain an unanswered question. No response would be good enough, she thought.

NJ : Anyways, how do you feel? Only one week to go, ha.

SEOL AH : (-confused-) One week?

NJ : Imm. The contract ends in about a week. Three months, completing in a week.

SEOL AH : (-uneasy-) Ah, I almost forgot about that.

She had a readable unhappy mien at the discretion, that rightly caught Namjoon's sight.

NJ : What's with that face? Weren't you wanting the contract to end soon?

SEOL AH : Huh? (-bitterly-) Yeah I did. It just feels the end came sooner than I expected. I was finally... (-chuckles-) Anyways, it was nice working with you.

NJ : Don't sound like you are leaving right away. There's still a week left for you to... bear with me(?) Is that how they say it?

SEOL AH : Well, isn't it the other way around?

She said recalling all the hassles, she had caused in the house in the past months. Seol Ah had been the toughest of all his managers so far. Her never ending curiosity about everything. And her persistence over things she wanted to be done in a certain way.

At times, it felt more tiring to have a manager, than not having one.

They grinned lightly over those memories, the ones which were not highlighted as such but were a good time indeed.

Slowly, the next moment they registered, they had already reached the car, with Kim opening the door for Namjoon.

For a moment, Namjoon banked on Seol Ah to be sitting next to him in the back. The latter, nonchalantly, helped herself in the front next to Kim.

It felt a little weird but he didn't let it bother him much as he closed his eyes to rest through the ride.

It was quiet and peaceful but also empty and hollow.

Upon reaching home, as Namjoon proceeded towards the house, he noticed Seol Ah, not following him.

NJ : (-to Seol Ah-) Aren't you coming in?

SEOL AH : Ah, yes. I have something to talk to Kim. You head in first.

His gaze straight went to Kim who shurgged; completely innocent. Namjoon nodded looking elsewhere and without a further debate, quietly walked inside.

In his room, as he was going to freshen up, he noticed the curtains were still held up.

To undo them, he walked to the glass window and his eyes instantly dropped at the lawn downstairs.

Kim and Seol Ah calmly walked side by side  as they conversed. There was an unusual tingling in Namjoon's guts, seeing them have giggles. His grips on the drapes tightened.

NJ : Are they dating!

It was more of a frustrated exclamation than a question.

He harshly cut his view off as he wound the curtains over the window and headed to his washroom without any thoughts.
