Once I finished my granola bar, I got up and ran to my room. I started crying. I was thinking "Why did I say that? They'll never keep me now." I heard someone walking down the hallway. I quickly wiped my tears, and acted asleep. Avianna walks in, and sits next to me. She hugs me and says "I'm sorry that happened to you, and I'm sorry Jonah asked you that, he can be a real pain in the ass" I roll over, and say "Its fine, I would've had to tell you guys sooner or later." We hug again.
Aaron walks past my room, and poked his head around the doorway. He quickly took a photo of us hugging, and ran off. We stopped hugging, cause we heard him run off. Avianna says "Wanna go chase after whoever that was?" "YES!" I say while laughing. We catch up to him, and he's showing everyone the photo. Avianna asks him "Whatcha got there buddy?" "Oh shit, gotta run" he says while laughing and running off. "Avianna, didn't know you had a soft side" Benjamin says. "Oh shut up Ben Boy." Avianna says while play punching him. Everyone starts laughing. Aaron walks back into the room, and Avianna tackles him. Everyone starts laughing even more.
A few hours pass by, and we are still all having fun. I was having fun, until I thought of Jax, my brother, and all my friends. I sat down at the table, and all the thoughts of my mom and step dad was going through my mind. All I could here was my moms voice saying "Your a worthless fucking slut!" "Its your fault your father died bitch!" "Be more like Amelia!" "A-Amelia." I thought. I screamed "NO, I WILL NEVER BE LIKE AMELIA. SHES THE FUCKING WORTHLESS SLUT. SHES THE ANNOYING LITTLE BRAT. SHES SO FUCKING STUPID. JUST LIKE YOU." I immediately felt guilty, even though it was part of my panic attack. I calmed down, and quickly said "Sorry." and ran to my room.
A few minutes later, Amelia walks into my room. She said "Eme, if you didn't know, you had a panic attack. And you yelled my name? You called me a slut and stuff like that. Why?" I said "Well, umm, my step sister, her name is also Amelia." She said "Oh okay." and walks off.
I was looking through photos of me and my friends, and I started crying. "I miss them, I wanna see them again." I said to myself. I guess Jonah was walking past when I said that, cause he popped his head in and said "Who do you wanna see Eme?" "M-my friends from school." I saw while wiping my tears. "Well maybe I could see if Aaron will let you go to school?" He said. I jump up excitedly and said "Wait, you'd do that for me?" He shook his head yes. I run up to him, and hug him. "Thank you." I whispered. "Your welcome Eme." He said. Secretly, Amelia takes a photo of us hugging.
