She ran out of the room, her heavy-headed dizziness courtesy of the flashing lights presented in front of her eyes messing up her vision. She let out a ragged breath as her fingers came in contact with the ice cold walls as she held them for support.

She didn't have time. She had to run. She had to go back.

...But what did she not have time for? Why was she running? Where did she have to go back to?

She sprinted, subliminally taking in her surroundings. She kept seeing blazes of herself in third person, completely encircled in blood, but was unsure whether it really was that or her psyche making up images in her mind. Distracted by her thoughts, she let out a large yelp as she slipped on the floor and sprained her ankle, accompanied with an intense feeling of whiplash as she turned around to see whether he had caught up or not.

Grabbing the side of her neck, her long, auburn hair grazed her knees and her hot, shaky breath greeted her skin, her body erupting in goosebumps.

She once again began her journey to run as far as she could, as fast as she could but still, somehow, he was faster.

"Looks like I can't convince you,"

"Y-you-" She felt her pulse quicken with each broken breath of hers. She felt a heavy weight on her chest, and her nose stung as she involuntarily filled her lungs with acidic air.

She whimpered and fell to the ground, her knees coming in contact with the almost frozen ground. She held her face in her hands.

"Trust your instincts, that's all I'm saying."

She woke up with a start, in a cold sweat.
