Why'd You Go, Lou?

Louis awoke one morning the same as he had recently. It was boring, gloomy, sad. As he was in the middle of wallowing for what felt like the trillionth time, he heard a knock at the door. How dare someone interrupt his self deprivation? It was Niall, why was Niall here?

"Um, Niall, what are you doing here?"

"Well I was on my way to get groceries and I decided that you're coming to our place to have dinner." said Niall as if it was already decided and not an invitation. And with Niall it probably was.

"Erm, I can't"

"Too bad. Non negotiable."

"Niall really, I can't"

"And why is that?"

"Because I'm going to Els" said Louis, he wasn't but it was the best excuse he had.

"You're with her. Ew why?"

"Heh. I'm not with her Ni, you know it's not like that." Louis chuckled.

"Wow! Louis isn't sticking up for his beloved?!? You used to immediately snap at us if we made fun of Harry? even a little bit." said Niall, at this Louis laughter stopped but Niall didn't notice.

"How is Harry by the way?" said Louis. He really did want to know. Because for one he was complete shit right now and he maybe hoped Harry was too. And not in some projected masochistic way, but just cause he didn't want to be alone in heartbreak, ya know?

"Harry's good actually, yeah he's been a lot better. Why?"

"Just wanted to know" How was Harry doing good? Had their relationship not meant anything to him?!? He thought that the heartbreak would last at least six months. How could Harry be doing well so quickly?!? And there it goes, the overthinking.

"Yeah sure I'll come" said Louis. Spirit now crushed but hoped that at least Niall could piece it back together.

"Great!! You're going to need to drive there yourself though because I still need to go get groceries so... yeah" said Niall

"Okay" said Louis and just like that Niall was gone. Kinda like a leprechaun.

Louis walked over to his closet to pick something out and saw one of Harry old shirts. It said 'Harry❤️Louis'. They had a framed picture of him wearing it in the living room but Harry must have taken it, or thrown it away.

Will Harry and Louis run into each other at dinner? Will Louis confess then? Will Harry forget about the break up and try to get with Louis anyway? Will they team up to kill Simon?
