Chapter 2

Why hello again! While I am running for my life with a small child in my arms, let me tell you about the world we live in.

Ever since quirks have came up, the world as you know it changed into one of a comic book. Heroes v.s. villains became a reality. The only reason why this could happen was because of healing type quirks. Both sides must have a healer with them or they will not last for very long. Its not just heroes and villains too, in every fight there is some casualty. Be that a building or a life, it is the reason why healing type quirks were so important. But ever since about 30-ish years ago, quirks have been few and far between. That is the reason why the mob of heroes are chasing me. What? You seriously thought that Recovery Girl is the only nurse at UA by choice? Ha!

Anyway, back to more important matters. It turns out that a 15 year old girl cannot out-run a group of highly-trained professionals as well as I thought. As I was mentally explaining current events with the make-up audience in my head, the heroes caught up and took me into custody. Wonderful.

"WAHHHH!!" Oh great, Haruto finally woke up.

"Hey, hey there buddy. Its going to be okay, I got you." I said as he clung to me as tight as his 6-year-old's strength could let them. After that short conversation i looked up at the heroes and glared at them. "What do you want?"

"Yo-your joking right? We all saw you heal this child back there!" Some newby hero said.

"Oh so that makes it ok to chase a 15 year old carrying an unconscious child?!" I lecture to the middle aged group of professionals. "You ought to be ashamed!"

After I calm down Haruto (again), he falls asleep once again. He must have woken up much earlier than their normal time to escape the fire I guess. Once I make sure that they are ok, I turn to the heroes.

"Okay so now what do you want?" With that they take me to U.A. so see their principal. "Hello Mr. Nezu."

-Time Skip-

"Good evening Kazuya. Would you like a glass of tea?" The weird mouse/rat/bear looking principal offered.

"No thanks but do you have some coffee?" I respond in my usual sleepless self. It didn't help that I had an unexpected marathon and healing session. I can't believe that they actually took me to UA. Looking around the room i find it was a 'professional but chill' style as I sat with Haruto sleeping in my lap. The police came to take him away but I was having none of that so he is here with me. These suckers would do anything to keep me going rouge on them, although that wouldn't happen I can still abuse it!

"Yes well I'm sure you know why you are here. We want you to join UA to become a nurse!" He shouted with this insane look and spilling tea everywhere.

"Well i was probably going to come out sooner or later... I have no problems about joining but I have some conditions." I started off. "I am an orphan so I doubt that the orphanage can do much to protect me from every local villain in the city. Also, now that Haruto is now an orphan I want him to stay with me. Lastly I may, kinda sorta, want Recovery Girl to teach me." I rambled off, slightly growing more and more quiet at the end embarrassed about having my all-time role model be recommended to teach me.

"The only thing that you said that wasn't expected was the rooming with Haruto. Is that all?" Nezu asks while I nod in response. "Great, well we have been finicking about having all students live in dorms for a few years but didn't see a reason why. You can live in the prototype dorms that is on campus so you'll be safe. As for Haruto, there is a kindergarten nearby that he can go to if you are serious about him living with you."

After a few more minutes talking about logistics and other boring details, I was showed to my new dorm. It was absolutely huge but thinking about 20-ish students living here I guess it makes sense. There is still about a month until the entrance exam so in the mean time I'm going to get started with working with Recovery Girl.

I can't wait until school starts!
