Calli is back in the hospital, and I was out about to make the worst decision of my life. If I hadn't left Becky's when I did, I would have regret what happened next. I don't know what it would have been, but the alcohol mixed with her confession were messing with my thought process. Now, I am home and come to find that the girl I love has been hurting.

"What happened?" I ask, still on my knees from the initial shock.

"She had a seizure getting in the shower." Alex answers.

"Was Cori with her?" I ask, looking up at the three of them.

Robert shakes his head. "Cori was in the other room and didn't hear it."

"Calli had been gone for a long time, so she checked on her, and found Calli on the floor." Zach says.

"On the tile?" I force myself to look away; I already know the answer and I fear for what's to come next.

"She wasn't breathing when Cori found her." Alex adds, quietly.

I can feel the acid building up in my stomach. I quickly get up off my knees and run to Alex's bathroom. I'm barely on the ground, gripping onto the toilet before I'm throwing up. After everything is emptied from my system, I lean back against the wall and finally let the sobs escape me.

"I'm so stupid." I whisper to myself. "This is all my fault."

I hear the front door slam and the sound of heels on Alex's wood floor.

"Where is he?" A voice asks.

Oh shit. My mom is here and she sounds pissed.

Seconds later the bathroom door flies open and my mom is standing over me.

"What the hell were you thinking?" She screams at me. "Where have you been? We've been calling you for hours, Austin."

"I was out." I answer, not wanting her to know the truth. "I needed to clear my head."

"And you didn't think about coming to my house, or even here?" She sighs. "Just tell me where you went. I can still smell alcohol on you."

"I went to a bar." I lie, again. "I had a few drinks, before I decided to come back here."

My mom's angered expression falls. "Why did you leave her, in the first place?"

"I said something I shouldn't have, and then she kicked me out." I answer, not wanting to make eye contact with her.

"What did you say?" Her voice is much softer than when she came in.

"You'll hate me too." I whisper, feeling fresh tears make their way down my cheeks.

Mom walks into the bathroom, closing the door behind her, and sits down beside me. Her arms wrap around her knees as she brings them to her chest, mimicking the way I'm sitting.

"Tell me what happened." She softly pleads.

I finally meet her eyes, and see fear for me. I start with the hospital visit, how things started to look okay, then to when we got home and how the fight between Calli and I started after hearing about the tour. Her eyes widen when I tell her about blaming Calli for what's going on with Graham, but she doesn't judge me. She listens silently as I tell her the truth about where I'd been all night. I can see she wants to say something, however, she waits until I'm finished with the story.

"That's everything." I whisper, too afraid for her reaction.

Instead of speaking, she sighs and rests her head against the wall.
