waking up, the light immediately shine through your eyes. feeling lazy you groaned and laid back down. "i dont wanna wake up!" you said with a huff. after some minutes of lazily laying down, you got up and open the curtains. "hello Seoul." you breathed out. walking to the shower, you turned the water on so it can heat up. you looked in the mirror as you saw your messy hair and eye bags. to you, you looked terrible disgusting just absolutely no. but if only you knew, you looked like an absolute goddess.
after the warm shower, you got dressed and took your phone and earphones. going down the elevator for breakfast, you got a glance of the same man you saw yesterday. but he walked down with a grey hoodie and black sweatpants. his long black hair enhanced his beautiful and mesmerizing features. he looked as if he was sculpted by the gods of beauty. he had the perfect amount of cute and intimidating. you didn't realize how long you have been admiring him until he snapped his fingers in front of your face. "안녕?" he said to you. "아-안녕" you said with a hint of nervousness in your voice. he chuckled, "your korean is cute. if you mind, why did you stare at me? i mean i know i'm beautiful but" he got cut-off by your instant reply. "cocky much? i wasn't looking at you." you lied. "you sure? i'm Yuta by the way, Nakamoto Yuta." he said as he reached his arm out for you to shake. "i'm y/n, kim y/n." you said. "i assume you're a korean who was born a foreigner? and uhm if you don't mind, can i join you for breakfast?" he asked, hoping for a positive reply. "you're right, and yes I don't mind." you answered.
both of you got your food and walked to an empty table. sitting down, you felt quite nervous for some reason. he glanced at you as a 'right here?' sign. you nodded and sat with him. as you had breakfast, you asked each other questions about yourselves. "have you ever had a partner?" he asked. you were caught off-guard with that question. "w-well it sounds pathetic but, no I haven't had one. call me a loser or something, I know, my life sounds so sad. To be honest, I don't want a partner, I guess i'm not ready for one. I'm just looking for a friend. One I can trust and come to at anytime I suppose." you replied, knowing well he'd make fun of you for it. but he didn't. "it's not pathetic. i mean i left Japan, anticipating for the one to come, but I guess its not meant to be. but anyways, what are some of your favorite artists?" he randomly asked. "well, sometimes i listen to k-pop as in Stray Kids, or maybe Loona? but then I also listen to oldies like Frank Sinatra or Edith Piaf. I also listen to smaller, more unknown artists. The amount of passion each artist puts should never be looked down on so I guess I'm not that picky when it comes to music." you said.
he was taken aback by your reply. he was so interested in you, as if he was a curious cat. wanting to know every single thing about you. "wow, you know, i'm quite interested in you." you snapped your head towards him and showed a questioning face. he laughed and said, "oh no no I didn't mean it in that way, I meant that, I want to know more about you so how about a friendly get-to-know-each other dinner? i might need your number though, only if you don't mind." he said. "no no, not at all, here its xxxxxxxxxxxx." you told him. he replied with a, "thanks, sorry to cut it short but i have to go now, gotta meet up with my friend." he apologized. "its okay, stay safe and bye bye!" he waved back as a reply.
