My alpha is a DUMBASS

Let's start this off from where it all started, my name is Riley, I'm a 22 male and a dominate omega. I live in Japan, Tokyo, where I attended university. I'm about 5'4 and 65 kg. my father was an emigrate from America. My mother was born in Japan and met my father at a café. They used to say it was love at first sight. 

I'm quite small to it, comes with being an omega I have short brown hair that's slightly shaggy and messy, I have brown eyes and a fair complexion. Sometimes I wish I was bigger, it would help with reaching the top shelf and maybe people would stop thinking they could just pick me up! Well, this is all beside the point. 

Currently, I am sitting in class, it's a normal auditorium classroom with seats extending upwards and the main speaking area. The teacher is standing next to their podium talking about today's class. People are paying attention, but also the sound of idle chatter can be heard from others all around me. 

I usually sit in the 3rd row with my friend, she is a beta named Kathleen or Kat for short. She is a very pretty girl with long orange hair and sparkling blue eyes she's around my height, and we are very close. She is a student who came to study aboard from America. We bonded over our parents and the fact that I can speak English. 

"Sooooo" Kat leans over and looks at me smiling a happy smile, her bright blue eyes looking at me expectantly. I know that tone all too well, she's going to ask me something totally inappropriate. She was always like that, her personality was just big and bold. I looked up to her for that, but also why the hell did the questions always have to be directed towards me? 

"Uh yes?" I look up at her, away from the biology book I'm reading, with an unimpressed look. Waiting for whatever her feral mind was going to blurt out this time. 

"Are you planning to heat share? You know because you're in university now you must have a ton of alphas at your door wanting to heat share with you" she smirks as I blush at the extremely personal question. What the hell kind of question was that to ask in the middle of an advanced biology lesson, anyway? 

Heat sharing is basically being shacked up with an alpha that is willing to sleep with you while you're in heat and basically provide for your primal needs, meaning having sex something I have and will never do

"W-what!! No! I wouldn't do that, of course not!!" I say, blushing deeply and adverting my gaze from her, how could she think that I don't even know any alphas personally except for one, and he absolutely hates me! Kathleen sighs softly.

"It's the 2020s, Rye," she said, using the nickname she had dubbed me with. "People are more open now about this stuff. You're an adult, you can go out and find partners to share your heat with it's not that embarrassing, plus isn't it due in a couple of days? You could always try tinder if you need to find someone quick. Any alpha would be lucky to share a heat with such a dominate omega I'm a beta and sometimes even I can smell you" she chuckled and grabbed me, tussling my hair softly as she giggled. I could feel my face heat up as I pushed against her, grumbling softly, trying to get out of her grasp. 

"Come on, Kat, quit it, I'm trying to study!" I said a huff, leaving my chest as I finally pulled off her, patting my hair and fixing my shirt as I sat up properly. I fanned myself, trying to get my cheeks to cool down. Going on tinder to find an alpha? Why the hell would I do that? I was perfectly capable of taking care of myself during my heat anyway. It's not that I wasn't hoping to have a relationship one day, it's just I wasn't interested in one right now. 

As we were laughing, well mainly Kat was laughing as I sat there super embarrassed by the topic of conversation.  A strong smell lingered its way into the classroom, it smelt like spearmint and a forest just after it had rained. I felt my heart start to race and my head turned towards the source of the aroma, it was the alpha who hated me who I, in turn, hated back my childhood enemy.
