Leanne's POV

I woke up to my ring tone. I looked at my phone to see who was calling me at that hour. When I saw it was Stiles I immediately answered it. Thinking he got in trouble or something.

"What Stiles?", I said having my eyes closed because I was tired.

"Thank God you finally answered!", he practically yelled. "I've called you a thousand times!", I opened my eyes and sat up in bed.

"What happened?", I asked. "Is Scott alright?"

"He's fine, probably at home. I was worried about you."

"Stiles, is three in the morning.", I whined. "I have school in a few hours."

"I know. I know. But I don't trust that guy and if something would've happened to you I-"

"I'm fine, alright? I'm going to bed and so you should as well. Goodnight Stiles."

"Wait I-"

"I said goodnight Stiles!", and with that I ended the call then went back to sleep.

I woke up, a few hours later, to my alarm clock. As soon as it went off, I stopped it and got up, getting ready for the first day of school as a sophomore. After I was ready I went straight to the garage to take out my bike. I was about to take off when I saw Scott getting on his motorbike.

"Morning brother.", he turned to me.

"Hey Lee.", he said. "Don't you want a ride?"

"After the last time, no thank you. I'm trying to remain alive. Also aren't you going to the clinic?"

"Yeah, but I could give you a lift.", he shrugged.

"Just go. Tell me what Deaton has to say about those", I said nodding towards his pocket where were the claws.

"Got it. See you at school.", he said before taking off. I got on my bike and started to pedal towards school. Because the school is not too far away I got there just in ten minutes. I put my bike in the bicycle parking and secured it, then made my way towards the school. I saw Malia and stiles standing in the front of the school talking.

"Hey guys.", I said

"Ah Leanne. Finally. You're alright."

"Stiles for the millionth time, I am fine", I saw him look behind me so I turned around and saw Theo getting out of his car. When he noticed us he waved and smiled.

"Why are you so suspicious of that guy?", asked Malia.

"Because I remember Theo from fourth grade. Okay? That's not Theo.", I looked once again at him and saw he was coming this way. "Leanne, stay away from him.", I rolled my eyes but I also didn't want him to follow me around the school so I nodded and went into school. There were lots of students walking around and chatting. Suddenly I heard my name being called. It was Mason.

"Lee! Hey!", he pulled me in a hug which I returned.

"Mason! Hi, how was the trip?", as soon as I said that he pulled away. I saw Liam beside him giving me a 'wait-for-it' look. He took my hand and lead me to his locker. I saw Liam following close behind. When we got there he opened his locker and took out a book. It looked old. As soon as he closed his locker the bell rang. We all started to walk to our class which was History 103.

"This is the one I was telling you about. I got it from a rare book dealer in Germany. Cost me 200 bucks, but it was totally worth it.", started Mason.

"You're still reading about this stuff?", asked Liam and I slapped him in the back of his head. "What did I do know!?"

"You're being a jerk to your friend.", I said. He rubbed the back of his neck.
