As I gazed the night sky;
I saw stars shining and shimmering.
Amongst all one glowed the most;
one that snatches everyone's admiration.
How to other stellar this is unjust!Being upset, I asked the Moon "Why;
Why among the stars is the Universe differing?"
The Moon laughed as if I just said a jest!
"Oh dear, It's humans who fostered comparison."
Hearing this only agitated my quest."each star has been painted with the same dye."
Said the Moon,"They are just at a distance varying.
Now tell me, how did you decide which talents are best?
How on the limited scale you pupil do selection?
Don't you know it's a diversity fest?""For you can't excel on ground if you are meant to fly.
You won't reach your full potential if it's world that you are impressing.
Oh dear don't be a society's expectation host.
You are the brightest star at your own destination.
It's your instinct that you should listen to most.""So to stubborn belief bid a good bye.
Follow your dreams, don't be afraid of messing.
Quit competing with others, life ain't a contest."
"How absurd was my outlook!", I said with a hesitation.
'I'll shine in my own sky' in the conclusion I engrossed.~Sabahat Khan
