The doctors POV

We both walked down the stairs and went to find the statue. As we walked out the door it was no longer where it originally was, which scared me a little.
"Where's it gone?" Rose asks and looks around the area. I look around me and saw a statue behind us.
"Rose behind us," I say looking at the stature. It was covering its eyes with its hands but facing us. He looked like it had a stone dress on. A long dress making it so we couldn't see the feet. It had angel wings with a pattern like fish scales. "Whatever you do, do not look into its eyes,"
"What will happen if someone looks into its eyes?" Rose asks looking down at the angel's body.
"It will make you into an angel, slowly turning into stone," there was a long pause before Rose spoke again.
"That wasn't there a minute ago was it?" Rose asks quietly. I looked at it for a few seconds more.
"It's crumbling," I say quickly and walked over to the angel, still keeping my distance just in case. Rose stands beside me watching the angel crumble.
"It's dying," she mumbles.
"It's a statue, it can't die," I pause when I had a thought "statues normal start to crumble for a reason,"
"When statues are a few hundred years old they can crumble,"
"Yeah, but this angel is only," I scan it with my sonic screwdriver for a few seconds until it beeps softly at me, I look at the results, "few weeks old at maximum." I placed my sonic screwdriver back into my pocket just has the weeping angel fully crumbled and broke apart on the floor. We both stepped back immediately.
"Is it still alive?" Rose asked. I crouched down in front of the pile of dust that was the angel and scanned it again.
"Nope, it's dead now," I say. "It can't do any more harm, unless it gets inside you some how,"

We walked around the streets, there were hardly any people, which was surprising for London. London is normally jam-packed with people walking around, but there were hardly more than fifty people at most. We both kept an eye out for any more angels.
"If the angels are crumbling all we need to do is find the missing people," Rose says breaking the silence.
"No, the weeping angels can't touch people, so there must be something else behind all of this,"
"If there are something behinds this what would it be?"
"I don't know yet," I say while looking down a back street, hoping to get any clues.

"Doctor," Rose said while looking down a dark back street.
"What?" I ask as she walks towards it. It was very dark but just about bright enough to see.
"Look," she whispered while picking sometime up. She turns around and shows me what she found. She was holding a chainsaw and she hands it to me.
"Who left this here?" I said quickly. Rose walks down the dark narrow street a little further.
"There's another one in a wooden door," she says and I walked down behind her. She pulled out the chainsaw from the door.
"No human has used this," I say
"How do you know?" Rose asks and looks up at me.
"I can just tell, for a start, normal chainsaws are build to cut through pretty much anything, for example, concrete, and this chainsaw can not cut concrete,"
"How do you know it can't cut through concrete?" I look at Rose and then turned the chainsaw on and tried to put through the concrete on the floor and like I guessed it didn't cut. I turned it back off sharply. "So this chainsaw was build and made to kill, or maybe even just as a threat weapon," Rose looks at me puzzled for a few seconds then looks at the chainsaw in her hands.
"How could you tell? It looks like a normal chainsaw?" She asks.
"Look at the teeth, not sharp enough. Best way to tell is gently run your finger down the blade, not too hard but hard enough to feel it," I say and placed the chainsaw I had down on the floor next to me. As I look back to I saw Rose gently touching the teeth of the blade. She also placed the chainsaw she had on the floor and looked behind me.

"Behind you," she says and still not looking away. I turn around and saw a weeping angel millimetres away from me. I jumped a little and quickly moved back. We both walked back and somehow it was moving closer and closer but we didn't see it moving. It had its arms stretched out at up almost like it was going to grab someone. It had its mouth open like it was hissing showing its stone teeth, its other hand was also stretched out looking like it was about to grab something.

Both Rose and I walked backwards down the alleyway until there was nothing left, no path, just a wall surrounding us. I kept looking at the angel as Rose looked around trying to find a way out. She grabs my hand and sighs. Suddenly the angel crumbles a little and seemed to stop coming closer. We were both backed against the wall with our back and heads against the wall and couldn't move forward if we did the hand of the angel would touch us. It crumbles slowly and then fell and shattered.
"We need to get out of this alleyway now," Rose says. I nod and we both quickly went back down the alleyway and onto the main street. I gasped as I saw many many more weeping angels, luckily non were looking at us.
"Be extra quiet, the angels can also hear," I whisper almost so quietly I was worried Rose couldn't hear me at first but she nodded in response.

We walked quietly down the street hand in hand hoping not to alarm any angels.
