Truth Or Dare

Keefe, Biana, Fitz, Dex, Tam, and Linh arrived at Haven field once Sophie had messaged them the game.

Truth or Dare.

What Sophie didn't like about this was that she would have to spill something. A secret or two.

But it would be evenly spread. Secrets from everyone, and embarrassing dares from everyone. She would be pretty sure hers were the best for their ears.

Biana smiled when she spotted Sophie. It looked like she had a lot in mind. A lot as in... a dare for her.

Keefe looked ready to embarrass Tam with a dare. Tam had the same expression. They were shoving at each other like four-year-olds wanting to walk a certain way but are being blocked by each other. On purpose.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, they went inside to play Truth or Dare.

"I'm asking someone first!" Biana declared. "Alright *insert evilest grin* Truth or Dare, Fitz?"

Fitz groaned and rolled his eyes. "Dare I guess."

Biana smiled like it was the best thing ever. "Okay okay okay I SO know the dare!"

She leaned in and whispered into Fitz's ear. Fitz flushed red. "WHAT???" he screamed. "Fine!" He got up and started acting like a chicken. A horrible imitation of a chicken, really.

"That is for the next three rounds!" Biana said with a smile. ("Bawk!" Fitz yelled.)

"Truth or Dare, Dex? Buck-buck-buck."

"Truth," Dex said with confidence.

"How would you react if I called you Deck every day?"

Dex narrowed his eyes. "You don't want to know."

"Truth or Dare, Linh?" Dex asked after everyone stopped laughing.

"Dare," Linh said. Dex whispered it into her ear. Linh looked happy about this.

She threw a tidal wave at Tam once she guided him outside. And did Tam look drenched.

Keefe couldn't stop laughing at Tam. "Your hair!" he screeched with laughter. "You're all wet and stuff!"

Tam growled, and he swore to give Keefe a very embarrassing dare. Or truth.

Soon their drinks came, and there was a moment of painful silence, Linh thinking about who to ask next.

Linh looked at Sophie. "Truth or Dare, Sophie?"

Sophie froze up hearing her name. "M-Me?" Her fists clenched, and her jaw locked.

Linh nodded. "Truth or Dare?"

Sophie's hands slowly uncurled. "Dare?" she squeaked, not noticing she squeaked until Fitz smiled.

"Okay..." Linh gave her a gentle smile. "I dare you to tell Keefe your feelings for him."

Sophie choked. "I—"

"Come on Foster, you have some sort of feeling for everyone," Keefe said, leaning back in his seat. He smirked and Sophie ducked to avoid anyone witnessing her blush. Out of the corner of her eye, Sophie saw that Fitz looked uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable. As if he already knew the outcome and was waiting for it to come.

Sophie gulped. "I, uh, I have feelings for him."

"Yes, but what kind of feelings?" Biana pressured.

"Good feelings?"

"More specifically? Do you liiiiiiiiiiike him, loooooooooooove him, or haaaaaaaate him?" Biana asked.

Sophie's lips pressed into a flat line. "I—I—I need some air..." She stood up and took a few deep breaths as she walked towards the exit.

After a minute or two standing in the snow, she heard the door open and close and two warm arms wrap around her waist from behind.

Sophie turned her head to see Keefe hugging her. "Hi, Keefe."

"Foster, you didn't answer the question, but I did read your emotions."

Sophie tinged pink. "Oh... okay."

Keefe smiled and rested his head on her shoulder. "So like Biana said, you loooooooooooove me?"

Sophie laughed, the sweet laugh Keefe loved so much. Sophie spun around, wrapped her fingers around Keefe's hand and stepped closer.

Keefe stopped smiling and stared into Sophie's brown eyes as Sophie was mesmerized by his blue ones.

"I guess I do loooooooooooove you, Keefe."

Keefe slowly tilted his head down, his forehead touching hers. "And I loooooooooooove you back, Foster."

Sophie closed the distance and kissed him, slowly, as his arms hugged her tighter and Sophie wrapped her arms around his neck. They had all the time in the world, all to themselves, because this was real love, love that they both deserved.
