Person B laid down on the grass in his backyard, looking up at the stars as they glistened in the night. The weather was perfect to do this, and he was amazed with the night sky. He moved his hands to his side to feel the grass around him, getting lost in his thoughts. While messing with the grass, he felt a flower run through his fingers and glanced down to look at it.

It was a beautiful blue and purple flower that had a good amount of petals on it. He smiled and picked it from the dirt, running his fingers over the soft petals. He stopped at the tip of one of them, carefully plucking it off. “He loves me,”

Pluck. “He loves me not.”

Pluck. “He loves me,”

Pluck. “He loves me not.”

He continued until there was one single petal left. “He loves me.” Person B smiled and looked back up at the stars, a new happiness in him.

“Hopefully.”
