"The confession" (part 1)

~Person B POV~

We were recording a video. This specific one we had facecam on because we were playing the Akinator game. It wasn't anything too special, but I was having a fun time.

   "Is your character married? Well I dont know, Person A. Are you married?" I said as I read the question.

   It was obviously a joke, so he replied with, "Listen, I don't know how to tell you this, but I've been married for 2 years now." He laughed a little, which honestly just made my mood 10 times better for a second or two.

   "Wow. How come I was never told about this mystery person?" I asked while smiling.

   "He doesn't like being known." He said as if he didnt realize the pronoun used.

   "He?" I asked in a somewhat hopeful manner. It would mean the world to me if I had a chance.

   Person A doesn't say anything, but he has a genuine look a fear on his face, as if he's scared that I found out. I don't want to make him uncomfortable, so I simply shrug and say, "Well how come I never met him? I thought we were friends, Person A!" I yelled a little at the last part, faking my sadness, which caused Person A to giggle and calm down, knowing that I except him.

   We both laughed it off and looked back at the screen to continue the game, but before I could read the next question, Person A said, "Are you leaving that in the video?" His voice was smaller than usual, so I could tell he was being serious.

   "If you want me to cut it out then I will. I understand if you're not ready for them to know yet. By the way, what are you?" I replied.

   He looked off to the side while he thought, but eventually said, "You can leave it in. And I'm bi."

   "Cool. Me too. Anyways, next question! Does your character have any pets? You have a dog, right?" I say as I start to move on. I can sense the shock from him, even though I'm not looking at him. But I'm not going to bring attention to it.

   "U-uh... yeah, I have dog! So, click yes." I do as I'm told.

Later on when we finished recording, I decided to go through the photage and cut out the conversation we had about that so not even my editor could see it. I left in the part where he said "He doesn't like being known," but then made the screen go black and put text there that said, "We had a genuine conversation about that, but I decided to cut it out because it's kinda personal. But basically Person A is Bi and cool with you guys knowing, so there you go :)"

   Needless to say, the comments on that video were amazingly supportive, even if they didn't know that I'm also bi. I'm not ready for them to know, but I'm happy that Person A is.
