Hey guys! A quick disclaimer!

This story will be about a TRADITIONAL Korean wedding. If I have written something in this chapter about the wedding that is false, please tell me the correct way and I will get to fixing it as soon as I could! And tell me anything extra just because; I'd live to learn more about this amazing and beautiful culture. Or your own traditional weddings :))

Also, my sources of trying to get this Korean wedding as accurate as possible :: SLICE n RICE (bro they're the best) and MeganBowen

"and how does this make you feel?" chohee asked, crossing her legs. ahyeong sighed, looking at the floor. she twiddled her thumbs. chohee put her arm around her best friends shoulder, "c'mon, it'd be good to let it out, ahyeong," she said.
"i feel like i have no control over my life. it's like i am my parents puppets," she whispered, her voice barely audible. chohee almost couldn't hear the girl, but she understood.

"mommy!" a small voice called. chohee picked up the little girl who ran into the room, "hi, honey," chohee picked her up. she sat in his lap and stared at ahyeong, "auntie ahyeong, why are you crying?"
    "don't worry about it, honey."
"but in school, i learned crying means you are sad," she whispered. she looked up to chohee, who was smiling at her innocence, "choonhee, crying can be good and bad. sometimes people cry because they are happy," she said, her voice soft.
"but, then why don't they tell us about the happy cry, too?" chohee shrugged, "i'm not sure. maybe they will tell you soon, though." choonhee nodded, "i hope so! or else i'm going to tell them the truth." chohee chuckled, "you tell them, my smart girl," she kissed her daughter's cheek. choonhee squirmed and wiggled herself out of her mother's grip. she ran out of the room and into her play room.

"let's get you over to the venue," chohee said. she rubbed her best friends back, doing what she could to comfort the girl who was getting married in a few hours. she sighed, "maybe i should just fly to australia or something," ahyeong said. chohee laughed, "if you do, i got you. i'll drive you to the airport myself," she said. ahyeong hugged her, "thank you."
"anything for my bestie," chohee said.

ahyeong looked at her reflection in the mirror. chohee and her mother were in the back, talking and trying to figure out some type of plan for the ceremony in an hour. ahyeong stared at the red dots on her cheeks. her make up was light and there was a beautiful ornament on her head. mrs. park walked in behind her daughter, "let's go, honey. we need to give everyone some time to take pictures,"
ahyeong stood. her hanbok was heavy on her, but the colors were so vibrant and beautiful it made up for the weight. her arms were at her side, her frown visible and her eyes droopy.

"honey, hold your arms up properly," mrs. park scowled. she helped her daughter navigate her arms into the perfect placement.

for the next forty-five ish minutes, ahyeong took pictures with her friends and her family. jungkook took pictures with his friends and family, also. then, it was just the two wedded couple. jungkook tried to keep his distance, and so did ahyeong, but the photographer and parents pushed the two closer to each other.

"alright, pictures over. let's begin the ceremony," mr. jeon called out. every stood and went into a separate room to take their seats. jungkook and ahyeong walked in together side by side, their arms up in front of them. they bowed to each other, showing their respects. they drank alcohol.

jungkook's mother and father took a shot of wine to show they have accepted ahyeong. ahyeong's parents did the same, accepting jungkook into the family.
