"How did you two meet?" Kate asked me and Scott, as we sat around the campfire,

Everyone payed attention to us, stopping all of their conversations. I cleared my throat and looked away from Bella and the Cullens. Scott snickered,

"She stole my wallet, I tracked her down to get it back. She handed it over and tried to run away," Scott smirked at me,

"Excuse me? He was going to beat me up, but then he imprinted on me. I shoved it into his hand then I tried to run away but he wouldn't let me." I scowled at Scott

He grabbed the back of my neck and kissed me roughly, I whined when he pulled away. I got up and sat on the other side of Jacob, making Scott laugh loudly in amusement.

"Artemis Elizabeth Swan!" Bella said in his 'mom' voice, crossing her arms as she stood in front of me,

"Hey, I thought you were dead and I had to find a way to survive on my own!" I huffed, crossing my arms, looking away from her

"I'm going on a run," Scott said, rising to his feet

"Don't kill anyone," I called out as he walked away,

"Does he do that a lot?" Emmett asked, sitting down next to me

"Mmm, hm. Normally after that, or I do something 'cute' in his words," I shrugged my shoulders,

"Leave it be." Edward said, shaking his head

"I'm going to hit the hay," I said, standing up and changing into my human form

I went into the tent with Renesme and crawled next to her, closing my eyes I went to sleep.

It was time. Leah and Scott were going to get Renesme out of here if they needed to. Scott was standing right by my side, pressing against me. I knew he didn't like the fact that I was making him go with Leah to protect Renesme; but, he told me he understood why.

"Artemis. He loves you." Edward told me,

"I know-" I started,

"You don't need to be afraid with him, not like you were with Paul. So, go with him and Leah. Protect our daughter. Your niece." Bella grabbed my hand and looked me in the eyes,

I looked her in the eyes, then into Scotts eyes. I smiled softly, and relaxed. I ran my hand through his fur, he shook his head at me before moving to Leah's other side. Ah, he's mad at me...but...I smiled at Edward, he chuckled but everyone went serious when the Volturi arrived.

I sighed with relief, dropping my shoulders when they said there was no fighting today. Bella grabbed my arm and Edward grabbed the other one to keep me from dropping to my knees.

"When did you become dramatic?" Bella rolled her eyes at me,

"Blame Scott," I laughed, standing on my own

"There is, one other thing I would like to talk about." Aro said, keeping everyone from leaving as his eyes locked on mine, he held his hand out to me

Scott growled, moving in front of me; Bella and Edward had their hands on my shoulders tightly.

"It's fine," I ran my hand through Scotts fur, smiling softly

He snapped at me, and I whacked him on the snout, making him lay on the ground. I walked up to him, Edward, Emmett, Jasper and Bella coming with me. I gave him my hand, all of my memories, flashing through my mind. When Aro let go, he gave me a look of pity; Edward sucked in a breathe that he didn't need.

"My apologizes and condolences, I do hope, in time you heal. And maybe then, you will consider joining us," Aro said, putting his hand to my cheek before holding up his hand, taking off with the other Volturi

"Was it true?" Edward asked me with a frown

"Except for the part where I can't use my other gifts. If I hid anything else from him, he would know and that wouldn't be good," I laughed sheepishly,

"How are you feeling now?" he asked me, worry clear in his voice

I winked at him, and he smiled. I gave Bella a quick hug before running to Scott and jumping onto his back. Changing into my human form, making my hair blonde, my skin pale and eyes a bright blue.

"I'll visit! And trust that you'll have my back when they come for us!" I waved at everyone as Scott took off,

"Aunty Artemis! Thank You!!" Renesme shouted after me,

I smiled and looked away from them, facing forward to where we were going.

"Hey...Scott...let's have a kid," I told him,

He stumbled a bit and huffed at me, making me laugh happily.
