Chapter Two: Forks

She exits the plane and grabs her bags as she searches for her father, who shouldn't be hard to find since he'll be in his work clothes.

Police Officer clothes.

She quickly walks over to her father who looks surprise at the red in her hair and in her roots.

"W-Wow! You've grown so much Natty!" Was the first thing Charlie exclaimed when he saw his first born.

She smiles and nods, "Yeah. That'a what happens when you don't visit in a while," She remarks and Charlie lets a small smile out before it slowly drops.

Bella had decided to not to visit their dad anymore and so Renée decided if one didn't go, Natalia couldn't go either. But when Bella came back last year, Natalia decided to stay with her mother so she could travel while doing online school work.

Charlie awkwardly rubs his neck, "Well, uh, lets get to Forks," He offers, and Natalia nods and grabs her bags easily and follows her dad to the cruiser.

"So you dyed your hair red? And made it a darker blonde?" He awkwardly questions as they drive through town.

Natalia giggles at the awkwardness before nodding, "I decided to have a new look," She lied, not wanting to say what actually happened. Aka waking up one morning with red hair wasn't gonna be a good excuse.

Charlie nods before it goes quiet again.

"Am I still able to go camping near La Push?" She suddenly questions and her eyebrows raise in surprise.

Charlie stays quiet for a moment before nodding, "I guess. I trust you enough to be smart on your own," He briefly looks at her and a small smirk crawls up and onto his face, "Don't set anything on fire... again," Natalia shakes her head with her smirk.

"You still remember that incident?" She inwardly cringes as the memory comes into her head. She winces after the memory played out, "Yeah... I won't be doing that,"

Charlie laughs and he nods, "Billy, Jacob, and I always talk about it whenever we have the bonfires at La Push," He smiles as he talks and Natalie nods.

She takes a smell and she suddenly could smell everything around her and she secretly made a disgusted face at the smell.

Here comes another weird and annoying thing side effect.

She gets settled into her room, after she moved Bella's to the left shelf and put hers on the right shelf in the bathroom and put her stuff away, and she looks at her red walls with glitter showing itself every now and then.

She smiles then she walks back down the attic ladder before going to the stairs before getting lightheaded. She closes her eyes but that doesn't end well. Her legs go out from beneath her and she falls down the stairs, already unconscious, and Charlie runs over to the noise to see her lying on the floor.

He pulls out his phone as he gets on his knees and placing Natalia's head in his lap very carefully, "911 what's your emergency?" The operator asks.

"My daughter fell down the stairs and she isn't conscious," He panicky informs before the operator sends someone to get there.

He smooths out her hair as she lays there.

The ambulance get there and help the teenager onto the gurney before going to the ambulance car and rushing her to the hospital.

Natalia wakes up to blinding lights and she hears a ton of talking the the beeping was louder than usual. She rolls her head to the side and she feels her hand in another's hand.

She sees her father laying his head on her stomach and she uses her free hand to cover her eyes from the light, accidentally waking her dad.

"Natalia! I'll be right back, let me get Doctor Cullen!" He rushed out of the room to get the Cullen.

Natalia glanced out of the open curtain as she removes the IV and wobbly stands and moves to look out of the hallway.

She'll always end up in hospitals..

She walks out of the room and walks over to the glass, showing the trees further away. She smiles until she hears a panicked yell.

"Natalia! What are you doing out of bed?!" Her father had caught her with Doctor Cullen not that far behind.

She smiles, "I saw the window and wanted to look out of it. I'm feeling very.... welcomed to Forks," She teases and Charlie sighs then helps her back to the room.

The blonde doctor looks to the girl and smiles at her when she connects her eyes to his with a greeting.

She internally yells in her head about the beautiful eyes he has and how unnaturally beautiful he is.

She internally battles with herself about attacking the doctor about how he pulls off everything.

"-Natalia?" Charlie waves his hand in front of her face and she closes and opens her eyes before focusing on her father.

"I heard?" She asks, unsure if she spaced out.

Turns out she did.

She had to stay with the doctor but eventually finished and she was able to go home as she didn't have any injuries, except for being dehydrated and food deprived. Turns out, her metabolism burns up faster than a normal person so now she has to eat a lot and hope not to gain a single pound.

She decided to talk to her dad about her getting her gun from his so she could keep up on her skills, her mother had sent her to learn how to shoot a gun at the age of twelve because of the bad luck Natalia had, and so she could practice.

She walks in and sees her dad polishing his shotgun and she clears her throat, causing Charlie to turn his head before turning it back to the shotgun.

"Dad I, uh, want to have my gun so I can practice this Saturday," She awkwardly states, she internally scolds herself at how Bella should be the one stuttering and not her.

He smiles at her before nodding, "You know where it is," Is all he said before she excitedly nods and goes to her dad's room to grab her pistol.
