Chapter Eight: Gone

Weeks later and the Swan sister's haven't heard a peep, or seen, the Olympic Coven since Bella's birthday. Bella would always sit at their table and Natalia would always join because she felt bad.

She hoped they didn't take her threat to heart.

She was just so mad that her sister had gotten attack by the people that were suppose to protect her when Natalia couldn't. She wanted to see what would happen if she bit a vampire with her jaw and inject her venom, but she also didn't want too. It was the werewolf in her wanting her to rip them to shreds for hurting her family.

Normally, Natalia would head straight home but she had to, unfortunately, disappear for the Full Moon that night.

So she left somewhere in the middle of La Push and Forks but she had decided to hike there instead of driving, seeing as she would probably not be near her motorcycle.

She walked over and she pulled off her sweatshirt and her sweats, leaving her in her underwear and shirt. She grabs small rubber band and wraps it around her clothes before putting a rope, big enough to be a collar for when she turns every Full Moon, and placed her clothes, with her phone, in it before she sits down on the ground and waits.

It happened but it goes faster than months ago. She feels the less pain after every turn. She shakes out her fur before standing up and walking through the forest.

The wolf in her pushes her into passenger seat, like always, and continues around like a normal, but oversized, wolf. She suddenly gets bad feeling but shakes it off as nothing. Her phone starts ringing and she recognizes the ringtone.

It's her dad.

And she can't answer it.

She officially knows something is wrong so she starts making her way towards her house. It would take an hour max.

She gets near the house and she sees red and blue lights but her wolf could smell a familiar, and likeable, scent of her sister.

She starts trotting towards the scent and it takes her ten minutes to get to where Bella is at on the ground. Bella turns her head towards the wolf coming her way, "He left... please just kill me," She quietly begs as she shivers.

Natalia could feel herself coming into control. It was rare to see her wolf hand over the reins to Natalia so she slowly walked towards her heartbroken sister and later right besides her, giving her warmth.

Bella's shivers stop in minutes and she cuddles closer to the strange animal helping her. Natalia puts her head on her face, covering the cold air from hitting Bella's face.

Natalia lets out a small whimper and Bella whispers, "He left me..." She sobs into the wolf's fur, clutching to her.

Natalia wraps her head tighter around Bella, giving a hug in any way she could to comfort her and to cover her from the slight rain in the sky.

They don't know how long they had been laying there for, Bella cuddling into wolf Natalia for warmth through the bites of the cold air then falling asleep, until Natalia hears a branch snap a little distance away and her ears snap up with her head.

Bella stays sleeping, unaware of Natalia now on guard. Natalia keeps her eyes on where she heard the branch snap. She sees a form come through the trees and she sees it's Sam. The Alpha of the Shapeshifters.

Natalia relaxes before laying her head back on Bella's.

Sam had walked closer, he was confused to see a wild animal, a wolf, cuddling with a vulnerable teenage girl to keep her warm. His brain clicks and he whispers the answer out, "Natalia?" He sees a wolf slightly turn it's head to show it's attention is on him and kneels down in front of her, "I need to take her back to Charlie. They're worried. You can see her when you shift back," He promises and Natalia slowly nods before getting out of Bella's weak hold.

She brings her head down and licks Bella's forehead before looking at Sam. Said man picks up Bella and gives Natalia a small smile before he leaves and walks towards her home. She looks down at the ground before handing the reins back to her wolf, whom runs all night just to make Natalia tired tomorrow and, possibly, the next day.

I thought it would be cute to have Natalia cover Bella  with her body when she just lays there after Edward gives her news of him leaving her.
