Y/n helped Marty repair the walkie-talkies. It was fun that they were able to spend some time together, considering the circumstances.

"We make a pretty good team here, future boy." Y/n said smiling at her and Marty's work. "Yeah I agree, let's test them out, beautiful," Marty said handing Y/n a walkie-talkie and then went to the other side of the room, passing Doc who was still working on the time machine.

"Y/n, this is Marty? Do you love me, over?" he said, smiling at what he said. Y/n playfully rolled her eyes and raised her eyebrows, slighty blushing.

"Check, future boy. I do love you, over?" she said giggling. "Good, just checking, over and out!" he replied, walking back over to Y/n.

"It's actually amazing that those things still work," Marty said, putting the walkie-talkie down on the table. He put both of his hands on Y/n's waist, pulling her close to him. "Yeah, it is," she responded looking into his eyes, her hands on his chest, per usual.

"Have I ever told you that you have beautiful eyes, future boy?" she asked. Marty shook his head and giggled, "No, you haven't, although I do like it." he said smile-smirking. Y/n giggled and leaned in to kiss him, but before they could kiss, Doc cleared his throat.

"I think we should go over the entire plan and layout, one more time," Doc said. Marty and Y/n pulled away, a little embarressed. They walked over to the model and Doc started talking, "I apologize for the crudity of this model." Doc said, "Yeah, we know, Doc. It's not to scale." Marty said, putting an arm around Y/n's shoulder. "It's okay, Uncle Doc." Y/n said smiling.

"All right! Tomorrow night-Sunday- we'll load the Delorean onto the tracks here on the spur, right by the old abandoned sliver mine. The switch track is where the spur runs off the main line three miles out to Clayton-Shonash Ravine. The train leaves the station at 8:00 Monday morning. We'll stop it here, uncouple the cars from the tender, throw the switch track and then we'll hijack- borrow the locomotive and use it to push the time machine. According to my calculations, we'll reach 88 miles per hour just before we hit the edge of the ravine. At which point we'll be instantaneously transported back to 1985 and coast safely across the completed bridge. " Doc said.

"What does this mean? 'Point of no return'?" Marty asked. "That's our fail-safe point. Until there, we still have time to stope the locomovtive before it pluges into the ravine. But once we pass this windmill, it's the future or bust." Doc said, and Y/n gulped.

"Here you go, Y/n. Connect that to the postive terminal." Doc said holding a wire. Y/n conncected it and made her way over to Marty. Doc then turned to Marty saying, "All right. You all set?"

"Yeah, yeah. Go!" Marty said. Doc pressed something that made the train move. "Train pullin' out of the station! Coming up the switch track! Stop at the switch track! Throw switch! Pull up to the Delorean! Pushing the Delorean to 88 miles per hour!" Doc yelled, and then reached out and caught to wooden car in a pillow. "It couldn't be simpler!" Y/n said smiling. Then there was a knock on the shed door.

"Hello? Emmett?" Clara said. Y/n, Marty, and Doc all looked at eachother. Doc went to the shed door and turned around to the two teenagers, "It's Clara!" Doc exclaimed. "No shit," Marty said under his breath, Y/n giggled. "Quick! Cover the Delorean!" Doc said. The two teenagers covered the Delorean, and then the shed door opened. Marty had the toy car hiding behind him.

"Hello." Clara said. "Why hello. This is quite a suprise." Doc replied in awe. "Well, I hope I'm not disturbing anything." Clara said.

"Oh, no, no. We were just doing a little model railroading." Y/n said, scooting next to Marty so Clara wouldn't see the toy car behind his back.

"Oh. Emmett, when my bags were thrown from the wagon, my telescope was damaged, and since you mentioned an interest in science, I thought you might be able to repair it for me. I would pay you, of course." Clara said.

"Oh, no, no, no. I wouldn't think of charing you for this. Let's have a look at it." Doc said, taking the case from Clara. Y/n pulled Marty away and whispered, "Let's give them some privacy," Marty nodded and whispered back, "You bet,"

Y/n and Marty leaned against a desk, trying not to watch Doc and Clara. "I think a lens may be out of alignment because if you-if you move it this way, the image turns fizzy. See? But if you turn it the other way then-" Clara trailed off . "Everything becomes clear." Doc finished. They looked into eachothers eyes about to kiss, then Y/n cleared her throat, and Marty smirked thinking it was funny what Y/n did to Doc and Clara, beacause Doc had done the same with her and Marty.

Doc and Clara pulled away, awkardly. "I could repair it right away and have it for you tonight." Doc said. "Oh, tonight's the town festival. I wouldn't dream of having you work on my telescope during such an important occasion. You are planning on attending aren't you?" Clara asked Marty, Y/n, and Doc.

"Well, actually ma'am-" Marty started to say, and then Doc interuped him. "Yes, yes. Of course. The festival." Doc said. Y/n and Marty raised there eyebrows at Doc in shock.

"Well, in that case, I'll see you this evening at the festival, Emmet. Mr, and Mrs. Eastwood." Clara said before leaving. "Ma'am." Y/n and Marty said. Doc heard her say Mrs. Eastwood and gave Y/n and Marty a look.

"Thank you for taking care of my telescope." Clara said before leaving. "Your quite welcome," Doc said, smiling.

"It's a nice telescope," Y/n said jokingly to her Uncle. Doc turned around and looked at Y/n and Marty smirking. "Thank you, Mr. and Mrs, Eastwood." Doc said, emphasizing Mr. and Mrs.
