No one's gonna take my soul away

Living like Jim Morrison

Headed towards a fucked up holiday

Motel, sprees, sprees, and I'm singing

"You fucking bitch!"

Frank screamed as he turned and attacked Film. He pushed her up against the wall and the sound of her body and head hitting the wall snapped me out from my disbelief.

"Stop that!" I exclaimed as I tried to peel off Frank away from Film. Win came to my side and helped but Frank was empowered by his rage and we were having a hard time trying to separate his hands from Film's neck. He swung his arm to the side to shrug Win off and he hit the man on the face. Win fell on the ground so I tried my hardest to remove Frank by twisting his fingers to loosen his grip.

Out of nowhere, Mike charged onto Frank and they both fell onto the ground. They started scuffling so I shouted to the others who were still standing still, "Come help me break this fight!"

Pluem and Khaotung were the only ones who moved to help Win and I. After a few seconds, we managed to separate the two. The only thing that was heard in the room was the two men's heavy breathing and Film's loud sobs.

"What kind of sicko kills two people like this?" Gigie said as she broke the silence in the room. We all turned and look at the macabre scene and I was honestly still speechless about it.

Removing my hold on Mike, I stood up and moved nearer to the body. I heard somebody ran away from the room but not far enough as I heard that person gag and vomit. Even in my line of work, I hadn't seen anything like this. Being skewered and dying like this was horrifying. Only someone who was sick in the head could do something so grotesque.

"You are all fucking stupid," Frank said as he shook off Pluem's hands off of him angrily. He stood up and I saw his face was so red from anger.

He turned and jabbed a finger in the air directed to Film. "That fucking bitch is the culprit!" he shouted. I looked at the poor woman who started sobbing louder because of Frank's accusation. "I didn't see anyone come out during our time of guarding and when I fell asleep, she probably had the time to fucking skewer Guy and Gun!"

"Stop throwing accusations without any concrete proof!" Win shouted at him.

Frank looked at him stormily. "Then you're fucking dumb if you keep trying to protect her just because she is acting like a poor, defenseless woman," he spat nastily.

"Shut up!" Film retaliated. I thought that shocked all of us when we heard her speak. This was the first time she was really standing up for herself. "I'm tired of you accusing me! Maybe it's you and you're just trying to deflect it with anger so people will believe you more!"

Laughing maniacally, Frank walked closer to her and Mike quickly put himself between the two. Frank didn't move any further but moved his head to look at Film straight in the eyes. "Why would you think that huh? Do you have better proof than I do?"

"I don't have any proof but neither do you," Film retorted. "But do you really think I can carry a javelin and have the strength to stab not one but two persons?"

Huh. She made a good point. Observing the scene, only someone who was strong enough was able to properly carry a javelin and directly stab it.

"So, it must be a man, right?" I heard Gigie asked.

They were all starting to talk and suspect each other but I tried to drown out their baseless accusations and focused on the murder in front of me. Looking at the way the javelin was pierced, I thought that whoever did this didn't have a firm grip. My assumption came from the way the javelin was angled. It looked like after the javelin went through Gun, the direction moved slightly to the side which made it hit Guy's eye. Although, I wasn't sure if that was on purpose but it had to be done with thinking and I didn't think the murderer gave them a chance to react and scream. So, this being on purpose was unlikely. Still, I wasn't going to cross it off the possibilities.
