The Night We Met

The Sleepover

Lights off , staffs and employees leaving , the two were yet to complete their scripts . The rehearsals are supposed to start from tomorrow  and it will continue till saturday , Sunday is the show . They had two days for rehearsal . While they were giving and taking each others anxiety Ms. Shrishti Desai walked in . 

" Guys don't be so harsh on yourselves , you have two days ", said their boss .

" But ma'am we also have other work so will we be able manage? ", asked Rayna with nervousness filled in her voice .

" Take it easy Rayna , if I were you I would have taken the full advantage of a cool boss ", smiled Ms. Desai .

" Indeed you are ma'am but if we do some mistake it can ruin the whole legacy of the show " , said Archie .

" Okay I get it you guys are too nervous beyond required . I have an idea . If you guys are ready then I think it will be a lot easier for both you " , proposed their boss .

" No ma'am , I don't have any problem " ,  the both said together .

" Why don't you guys arrange a sleepover at anyone of your house ? I am being really open at the moment . There's no pressure about this . I just think it will help you guys to be a little more comfortable for sharing the stage together because you barely know each other . What do you think ?" suggested Ms. Desai .

Both of them first thought for a moment and then looked at each other then finally Rayna broke the ice " Okay ma'am as you say , I don't have any problem. Only one condition , it has to be my house . "

Archie too agreed . 

After reaching Rayna's home near after an hour , thanks to Kolkata's traffic both of them refreshed, had some snacks and resumed to their scripts . A while later Archie said ,

" Your house is amazing but don't you feel bored , I mean living alone is boring isn't it ?"

Rayna smiled ," Not actually . It's quite peaceful and I also feel liberated "

Archie replied ," I see , I always need someone . So when I moved here I brought Coco with me ".

" Who is Coco ? " Rayna enquired of Archie .

" Coco is my dog " Archie answered .

They had no clue when there small talk changed into a one and half hour conversation . They ordered their dinner which was continued with Netflix . When Rayna checked her phone it was 3 a.m . She screamed like a tiger was about to eat her up . Both of them understood that they were screwed . After that when they started writing their hands stopped only when they finished , that is 5 a.m . Rayna slept in the couch as she was too tired to go to her room while Archie slept in the other room beside Rayna's bedroom . When Archie woke up it was 10 a.m and he was already late . The entire room looked like it just survived a storm . Archie was very perplexed then he suddenly heard a noise from the living room where Rayna was sleeping . He was about to leave the bed when there was a knock at the door which was getting louder and louder with each second . A chill ran down Archie's spine . He gathered enough courage to go near the doo. He was worried for Rayna as she was in that room too . When he opened the door " Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa .... " , Archie screamed .
