Rayna ran and checked Archie. She quickly called the doctor. Archie had a few bruises. A decoration pole fell on him. Rayna didn't care about anyone else at that moment but when she was cleaning Archie's wounds she noticed Ms Desai was smiling and winked at both Meera and Kabir. She was perplexed but at that moment Archie was more important to her.
The doctor gave some medicines and assured them that there was nothing to worry about, Archie had just got some wounds and his neck might hurt a little. He was unconscious because of tiredness and workload may be. Archie was kept in the restroom. Rayna was going to the auditorium to collect her and Archie's belongings when she heard some whispers from Ms Desai's cabin.
"I gave you one work! You couldn't do that too.", Ms Desai said with irritation.
"I placed the pole in such a position which targeted Archie's head, I don't know how we missed it.", replied Kabir.
Rayna was shocked but first, she hurried to the CCTV monitoring room. She checked the auditorium's clip. She couldn't believe her eyes. She took the clip in her pendrive as an evidence.
Rayna rushed into Ms Desai's cabin and yelled,
"Why did you do this? Why with Archie?"
"What are you talking about?", Ms Desai answered.
"Don't play this game with me. I have the footage so you either tell me the reason or I'll not think once before submitting this clip to the cops.", blurted out Rayna.
"Ooh, you are smart, I'm impressed. You want your answers so will I give you. This company is not mine, I just run it. It's my brother's and Archie is his son. All these years I have given my blood and sweat after this media house but now my brother wants Archie to take charge of it that too in Mumbai but I won't let this happen." Ms Desai said with a wicked smile.
"Then why did you want me and Archie to be close? What is my role here?", asked Rayna.
"First I thought I'll stop him from going to Mumbai without harming him but he told his dad that you would be his partner and will replace me in this branch so I thought to kill you emotionally and Archie physically so at least he couldn't perform in near future. Rest I could handle but he was lucky. Kabir and Meera helped me too. I didn't have to work hard to pull them in, I just promised them a promotion. All these problems I told you about were all created by me so that tomorrow's show fails and I can paint both of you as irresponsible leaders for handling the company." Ms Desai said.
"You will pay for this.", Rayna said and walked off.
Ms Desai didn't take Rayna seriously and that was a big mistake. At 10 pm someone knocked at Ms Desai's door. When she opened it, she saw Archie's father with the police. Just then she received a message from Rayna,
"You think you are too smart but I outsmarted you. I had recorded whatever you said. I hope you will enjoy your time in the jail but please read the newspapers, I will write and publish your article, all by myself."
Ms Desai was arrested and soon got detached from all the privileges given by the company.
Archie was taken to his house accompanied by his parents. Rayna still had a lot of work left because as they say, 'The show must go on '. Archie called Rayna that night,
"Hey! What's the progress?", asked Archie.
"Problems solved but I need to find another host in place of you or I'll have to host it all alone", Rayna sighed.
"Why replacement? Why would you even do it alone? I'm alive, just got a few wounds. If the scars are the concern then I don't think you would mind sharing your concealer with me. " Archie giggled.
"Okay fine ! Keep your medicines handy", agreed Rayna.
"Ai Ai ma'am", Archie laughed.
Next day Rayna was nothing less than a bullet train. She was running here and there. The show started on time. When Archie took charge, Rayna went to drink some water to give some rest to her throat. Her phone vibrated, it was from a musician they had paid for the show. She cancelled it because of the heavy rain. Rayna started panicking. When Arushi asked her she narrated the problem to her.
"Why don't you and Archie sing a song? I have heard he is quite good.", Arushi suggested.
"Me? No. Archie can, not me. I don't want to break the glasses", Rayna replied.
"You are doing it. I am keeping the instruments ready.", Archie barged in.
"No Archie please.", Rayna pleaded.
"One song! Remember , the show must go on", Archie said.
"Fine but only one song.", Rayna finally agreed.
Rayna got up on stage while Archie quickly gave the track to the management team and walked on the stage.
"But what song are we going to sing?", Rayna asked.
" Don't worry, you know this. We were listening to this while writing our scripts at your house, remember?"
"Okay I know the lyrics ". Rayna confirmed.
The background track started. Rayna and Archie started singing together.

The audience started dancing in couples. As they finished Archie instructed to continue the soft songs.
"You guys turned our disastrous award ceremony into an American school ball. You guys should also go and dance too, you are the star of the show", a staff said.
Archie and Rayna also started grooving with the music. After a long time things were calm and their head could relax.
By 9:30 pm everything was wrapped up. Archie and Rayna left together from office. They couldn't get a cab because of the rain so instead they took a bus. They were lucky enough to get a seat.
Rayna felt like she was in some cliche movie but she liked it. She thought someone would barge in and say cut and everything will be over.
"Hey! So there's something I need to tell you" Archie said.
"Go ahead ", Rayna replied.
"So by now I think you know that I had a major crush on you but now things have changed", Archie said.
Rayna thought he was over her.
"But the more I got to know you the harder I fell in love with you. This was my last shot at confessing my feelings to you. I'm not asking for an answer, I just wanted you to know that I care, I care for you.", Archie confessed.
"Why last shot though?", Rayna asked Archie.
"I'm leaving for Mumbai tomorrow. I think our evil ex-boss told you the reason. Dad thought that branch needs me more. So...", Archie answered.
Rayna's heart sank but she wanted to be honest with Archie.
"Archie, I too have certain feelings for you but I don't know what they are. In the past years things have changed a lot. For a long time my mind was not in a good place but this one thing gave me the strength to shove off all the toxic things from my life. It was my aspirations. A voice in my head said make your willpower so strong that nothing can stop you from achieving your dreams. That's what I did. After so many years you came into my life all of a sudden and may be good things happen this way but I want to be 100 percent sure about it. Neither do I want to lie to you nor to myself. Let's play a game. Play a song which describes your feeling and I'll do the same." Ryana said.
Archie took out his earphones and both of them took one. It was Archie's turn to play,

"Archie may be I love you but I can't keep you waiting just like that", tears fell from her eyes.
Archie's stop was near. He stood up, took his bag and whispered into Rayna's ears,
"I will wait."
The bus pulled away as Archie got down. Rayna didn't knew what she did was right or wrong but somewhere she believed in Archie's whispered words.
Next morning when Rayna woke up she saw some texts from Archie,
"I'm leaving this beautiful city today but I believe that someday again in some another unknown city we will see each other, wave and let the rest remain as a mystery."
Rayna smiled and went to take a shower.
AFTER 2 MONTHS :-
The office was chirping and Archie's head was hurting. Suddenly he received a text from an unknown number,
"Let's meet in another unknown city again and let the rest be a mystery."
Archie gathered his things and immediately took a cab as soon as he got the location. He knew this anonymous person.
When he reached and had found the right apartment, he opened the door. The flat was dark and suddenly he screamed," AAAaaaaa....".
A familiar voice laughed in the dark and then the lights were on. The voice said,
