We Could Build A House by Joseph O'Brian

Jungkook POV

It has been over a month, yet Lisa still hasn't showed up. God's know how much I miss her. I never heard anything about her since the day she flew away to Thailand. Let me tell you, I miss her so freaking much.

"Yah Jerkook, whatcha waiting for? It's about time for your speech." The short hyung came trudging into my personal room backstage.

Did I mentioned that we're graduating today and that I am the valedictorian? I guess not. And here we are, back stage, after Jimin pulled me forcefully.

"And let us now invite, our valedictorian of 2019/2020, Jeon Jungkook!"

I placed my graduation cap and took a deep breath. With confidence showing on my face, I walk towards the mic stand and tap it, making sure it's turned on.

"Hi everyone. As you may know, I am Jeon Jungkook. Standing right up here is actually an honour. There's nothing special about me actually, I'm just a normal transferred boy.

A lot of happened in these two years. For example, I got transferred here from Busan, I met with 10 amazing humans, minus one cuz one of them is actually my bratty cousin." I paused as I look at Jennie noona who's glaring at me.

"Mianhae, Jendeuk noona, just joking. Peace!" I showed my full teeth and a peace sign to her making the people in the hall laugh.

"Now, where was I? Ah, the examples. In these two years, I went through a lot of ups and downs. It either be with my hyungs and noonas or without them. I'm gonna say this once, but thank you for staying put with me despite all of what I've done to you. I will forever thank God for bringing them and making them a part of my life. You're my best friends, my best buddies, my best advisor, my best partners and my best people."

I paused as I saw Jennie noona and Rosé starting to tear up. The rest of them just smiled at me and gestured for me to continue.

"For my study, sorry teachers, but bitch trust me when I say I don't give a fuck about it. I never really went to classes and I always skip my homeworks. But hey, look at me standing here wearing a graduation hat and being the valedictorian. Even though I never went to my classes and everything, I aced every exams I take. Thank you my smart brain, what would I do without you?"

The entire hall chuckled.

"One of the many important thing that happened to me is meeting the love of my life. Yes, I just graduated and to you it might seems too early to found the one and only, but I'm proud to say I found her.

The only thing is that I made a very huge mistake to her. Through my whole life, I've never feel what it's like to be loved and being in love, never once in my life. So when she came into my life, even though it was planned, I don't know how to act.
