Chapter One

*Newts pov*

Ever since that new greenie arrived everything has been different. Ben gets stung in broad daylight, a girl shows up and has a note saying she's the last one, plus she's knows Thomas.

Gally has been a shank and is going off his head saying that it's all Thomas's fault.

Ouch.

I'm snapped out of my reverie by a sharp burning pain on my collarbone on the right hand side.

I pull back my hoodie to find an image of angel wings and a halo forming.

What the hell is that?!

'Newt you okay?' Minho calls out to me from his way back from speaking to Alby.

'Yeah I just got a really weird burning-'

'Sensation on your collarbone on the left side?' He finishes for me.

I stare at him in shock and for some reason I feel a small flare of jealously form inside of me.

Why on earth do I feel jealous?

'Yeah but for me it was on the right. Did you get the image of the angel wings?' I ask him, pushing down my jealously as I watch one of the weird metal beetle thing pause as it goes past us.

Weird.

Minho nods and as he goes to show me, the alarm for the box blades out.

Both me and Minho exchange a confused look before rushing with the other gladers towards the box.

'What's going on?' I ask them, gently pushing them aside so I can get a better look.

'It's a girl and a group of six guys' Cameron one of the slicers tells me.

Another girl? And six guys in one box?

I make it to the front and just as I'm about to peer in, a guy with blue eyes and dirty blond hair leaps out of the box carrying a body in his arms.

'Niklaus what is it?' Another voice calls out as they leap out of the box wearing a smartly pressed suit. Who wears a suit nowadays?

'Children' The man called Niklaus snarls at us.

Jeez this guy needs to calm down.

One by one four other males leap out of the box, they all crowd around protectively around whoever 'Niklaus' is carrying.

'Is she okay?'
'How did she teleport us?'
'Was it the ancestors?'
'Boy I'm glad she killed that witch bitch'

They all start talking and asking each other questions until a dark haired guy with blue eyes yells at them all to shut up.

'Look' he tells them, 'she's got two new soul marks on her collarbone'

What are soulmarks?

All of us crowded around the box, stare at them with fascination until Alby appears with Thomas and lays an arm on one of them.

'Hey-'

As soon as Alby touches one of them, they fling their arm out and shove Alby flying back several meters.

'Jesus Jeremy! You really have been training with your new hunter skills' One of them with a slightly manic look exclaims.

The Jeremy person just shrugs and carries on checking over the girl.

We all step closer at the force that was used against our leader and I go to say something but I stop when I catch a glimpse of the girls face.

All I can focus on is her, she's got purple/blue hair and beautiful plump rosy lips.

She's absolutely beautiful.

'Damon I think we've found one' The one in a suit smiles gently at me while another one wearing a leather jacket glares at me.

'She's called Crystal' Jeremy softly tells me.

Crystal.

So beautiful.

'Who the hell are you?' Gally steps forward and asks threateningly.

I really hate that shank sometimes.

'Really we should be the one asking that but alright mate, I'll bite' Niklaus sarcastically says. ' I'm Klaus Mikaelson, my brother Elijah is over there in the suit.'

'That is Damon Salvatore and his friend Enzo. The one who shoved that git is Jeremy Gilbert and last but not least is that fella over there, Kai Parker. Watch out for him, he's the most likely out of all of us to kill you within five minutes of knowing you.

We all pale at his final words and everyone but me takes a step back.

Suddenly the girl gasps and awakens in Klaus's arms, I have to restrain from ripping her from him and hugging her for dear life.

What's got into me today?

She's opens her eyes and I can see their an amazing blueish/greenish colour.

'Are you alright Elskan? You used quite a lot of your powers at the boarding house' Elijah asks her softly, gently caressing her hair as he does so.

She nods and slowly gets Klaus to set her down.

She locks eyes with me and her face lights up int a grin, it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

I feel my collarbone warmly tingle and she throws herself into my arms.

'Mate' she whispers into my ear and I feel shivers run down my back at the word.

'Get the hell off him!' Gally shouts, yanking her off me, her male companions suddenly start growling and stepping forward, I swear I saw Klaus's eyes turn yellow.

She frowns and I can feel the ground start to shake beneath me.

What the hell?

Lightening starts to flash overhead and Gally backs away with his hands raised in surrender.

Instantly the ground settles and the lightening dissipates.

Crystal gives a soft yet wicked smile towards Gally and grabs my hand to pull me over to her.

'Hello love' I say to her, with a big grin forming.

'Great another British one' I hear Damon groan.

'No fangy fang fang, they don't have it here' She whispers to her male friends and I wouldn't of heard her if I wasn't so close.

Fangy fang fang?

I'm not sure I want to know.

'Newt you alright?' Minho asks, rushing into the circle around the box.

He glances at Crystal and I can see the same emotions going through his eyes that went through me.

'Mate number two' Kai lowly snickers.

I look at Crystal confused and she hugs Minho, whispering the word 'Mate' that she whispered to me.

Why do I have a feeling that the other guys she arrived with are 'mates' as well? Do I have to share with them?

Minho I can do but they seem downright scary.

A metal beetle scuttles across the ground in front of us and she bends down to look at it when it stops.

She whispers something and it takes me a minute to work it out.

'W.I.C.K.E.D is not good'
