Chapter 2

The sun rose above the horizon. Neil was all ready in his police uniform. His face had no expressions. He was totally emotionless, the downpour of emotions from the previous night was also locked in that dark room. He walks out of his condo. His Jeep was waiting for him outside the condo. DD was standing near the Off-side of the Jeep.

DD- (cheerfully)- Good Morning, Sir jii!!!

Neil just gave him a nod and walked towards the passenger side. Neil settled down while DD started the Jeep. Neil stays at his condo most of the time. He visits his family at Khanna Mansion once in a week. Though Shweta wants him to stay with them but Neil denies to it.

After that fateful day Neil's heart had turned stone. He locked all his emotions in that dark room. He turned completely merciless and heartless. His face would either have an emotionless look or an angry look. 

Neil and DD reached police station. Everyone stood up to greet Neil. He just nodded at them and entered his cabin hastily while asking DD to bring a case file.

Neil took his seat and waited for the case file while he looked at the photo of him, Ali and Avni which was placed on his desk. . In the photo, Neil and Ali were standing at either sides of Avni. Neil had his hands on both of her shoulders while Ali was pulling both of her cheeks. Avni had a cheeky smile while Ali and Neil were grinning. He closed his eyes and remembered their moments together.
