"Then it's settled, tomorrow after school we'll go ghost hunting." Hawk said as he stood up.
"Where are we going?" Tommy asked in a frightened voice, as he rung his hands nervously.
"There's a cemetery in the woods behind the school." Kevin said with a smile.
"Tommy's gone again." Hawk said as he looked around. "We'll call this meeting and meet here after school tomorrow." Hawk said. Everybody began to leave, Kevin and Peter went one way, Lisa left in a different direction, while Hawk and Kimmy set out in the same direction.
When they reached Quick Stop, they said goodbye and went their own way. I have better prepare for our little trip. I suppose I can bring some water and maybe some snack crackers, Hawk thought as he continued on his way home. When he reached the building, he took the elevator to the fourth floor and walked up to the front door.
Hawk unlocked the door, stepped inside and closed the door behind him. Dropping his backpack by the couch he walked into the kitchen and pulled out some burritos for dinner. After eating the burritos, Hawk took a shower and then head- ed for his bedroom.
Hawk lay down on his bed and wondered if they would actually find any ghosts or anything else for that matter. Before long Hawk's eyes got heavy and his eyes closed as he fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning Hawk woke up and made some breakfast before packing his backpack with water and crackers. After eating he cleaned the dishes, grabbed his backpack and headed out the door. The days were getting warmer and Hawk saw no need for a jacket.
He continued to the school and was glad to see Kimmy sitting at her desk. The day went by rather quickly and without any problems so far. When the last bell rang Hawk and Kimmy put away their things and headed for the front door.
"I wonder if we're really going to see any ghosts." Kimmy said as they walked across the campus to the SNC.
"I don't know either but I suppose we'll find out." Hawk replied as they continued past the swimming pool. When they finally stepped into the SNC everyone else was there.
"Well it's about time." Lisa said with her hands on her hips.
"It's...it's getting late and...and I have to be home before dark." Tommy said as he rushed out of the room.
"Yeah I should be going too." Kevin said as he back towards the front door.
"I hear my Mom calling me." Peter said as he turned to leave.
"That's enough, knock it off or Lisa will beat the hell out of you!" Lisa yelled at them as they tried to leave. Kevin and Peter stopped in the tracks and looked at Lisa in fear. Lisa glared at them, fists clenched and a snarl on her face.
"Well we better get going." Hawk said as he stepped out of the SNC with the others close behind.
"I'll show you where it is." Kevin said as he took the lead with Peter at his side. Lisa followed them to make sure they wouldn't run away. Then came Kimmy and Hawk behind them.
"How long will it take, Lisa don't like long walks." Lisa said with a frown as they entered the woods.
"Well it shouldn't be that far away." Peter said as they continued through the woods.
"Um...Hawk, do you have anything to drink?" Kimmy asked as they walked.
"Yes, I brought some water." Hawk said with a smile.
"Can I have one?" Kimmy asked Hawk with plead- ing eyes.
"Sure." Hawk replied as they stopped so he could get it out. Hawk slipped the backpack off, opened the top and pulled out a bottle of water.
