Strange Encounters Vol. 1

My Life

Hawk is a 17 year old, with short black hair and hazel eyes. He was thin, of average height and didn't really have any friends. Hawk lived alone at Sky apartments after the death of his parents. He lived on the 4th floor an apartment 4A.

Hawk stretched as he met out a yawn and opened his eyes. He sat up on the edge of his bed and let out of sigh. It's going to be one of those days, Hawk thought as he stood up. He walked over to his closet, slipped on some blue jeans and a red shirt with the letters MH written and black across the front.

Hawk slipped on his shoes, slung his backpack over his shoulder and walked to the front door. The living room and the kitchen we're separating by a divider that ran across the room. The living room walls where tan with white trim and the carpet that stretched across the room was a light brown.

A small table sat next to the front door and a small television sat on top. To the right of the door was a window with brown curtains and above center of the room hanging light fixture and a black leather couch set several feet from the television.

In front of the couch stood a glass coffee table with gold legs. On the coffee table where's the TV remote in the dish of plein M&M's. A small wooden table with two chairs stood between the couch and the divider that separated both rooms.

The kitchen walls are yellow with white trim and the tiles on the floor are a sea green. A white refrigerator and a stove stood against the right wall, a counter ran across the far wall and had a green countertop and it's stainless steel sink. Against the left wall are shelves where is the dry goods are stored.

Silverware and dishes where stored and the cabinets above and below the sink. A doorway on the right led into a hallway, the walls are white with brown trim and a tan carpet stretched across the floor.

In the hallway were three doors, the first door lead into Hawk's bedroom. The walls are red with white trim and a burgundy carpet stretched across the floor. A walk-in closet stood on the left wall and a light fixture hung from the middle of the. ceiling.

A window with burgundy curtains stood on the far wall and a dresser stood under the window. A single bed stood against the right wall and had white sheets and had a red blanket. The next door opened into the bath- room, it had blue walls with white trim and the towels on the floor are a blue and white checker- ed pattern.

A mirrored medicine cabinet, stood above a white porcelain sink and against the left wall. A shower with a glass door stood against the right wall. On the far wall was a window with blue curtains and underneath was a white porcelain toilet. The last door opened into another room, but this room was empty because no one else lived with him.

Hawk grabbed a bowl of cereal for breakfast and deposited his bow in the sink before leaving his apartment, closing the door behind him. Hawk looked surprised as you saw some boxes stacked near 4B. I must have new neighbors, Hawk thought as he walked to the elevator.

To his disappointment the elevator what is on its way down and he would have to wait for it to return. I hope I'm not late for school, Hawk thought as you waited for the elevator.

Hawk was relieved when the elevator returned and you stepped inside, pressing the number 1 button. The doors closed and he rode the elevator to the ground floor. It was an average day as people came and went at the sky apartments. When Hawks stepped outsidw, he noticed the clouds and the sky as he looked up.

Looks like rain, Hawk thought as he began his walk towards Morgan High. He didn't live too far from the school and walk there. Morgan High is a two-story red brick building, a pool surrounded by a wooden fence stood to the right of the school.

A gym and several club- rooms stood behind the school and a wooded area surrounded the back portion of the school. Hawk continued his walk and stopped at Quick Stop to pick up something for lunch. The place was read with a black stripe across the middle. Three gas pumps sat out front and a sign above the building announced the stores name.

Double glass doors led into the store and stacked by the large picture window we're cases of water. 4 isles of shelves held a variety of products and on the far wall stood the refrigerat- ed section. At the back what is a soda fountain and at the front next to the doors stood a counter with the cash register on it. The walls on the inside match those on the out- side and the floor tile look like a black and red checkerboard.

After paying for his purchase, Hawk stepped outside and continued to school. When Hawk arrived at school there were hardly any students outside. Hawk stepped inside and was jostled around because nobody noticed that he was there. The walls are cream colored with brown trim and the floor tiles where a marble green.

The hallway ended in a t and a set of stairs led to the second floor and the roof. Hawk turned right and proceeded down the hall to his classroom, where he heard the other students having an excit- ed conversation. Hawk stepped inside and made his way to his desk, setting his backpack beside it and sitting down.

"Did you hear we're getting a new student!" A boy said excitedly.

"I wonder if it's a boy or a girl?" Another boy said in reply.

"I hope it's a boy." A girl said she swooned over the thought.

"I sure hope it's a girl." A boy said has he rubbed his hands together. Hawk sat they're listening to the conversation the others were having. Well what a bunch of idiots, sitting around debating whether a new student it's a boy or a girl, Hawk thought as he looked around the room.

You would think that they are all perverts, Hawk thought as he shook his head. The classroom like the rest of the school had cream-colored walls with brown trim and green marble tiles. Desks we're lined up in rows, Hawk's desk being in the back next to the windows in the class.

In the front of the class- room stood the teachers desk and on the wall hung a large green chalk- board. The students continued the chatter as a teacher steps inside. Mrs. Chan was in her mid-twenties, head shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. A pair of glasses hung on her nose and she was dressed in a skirt and matching Blazer.

A white blouse stood out under the Blazer and she wore black flats along with it. She walked to her desk shutting down her books and turned towards the class. "Take your seats please and quiet down." Mrs. Chan said in a loud voice. The students hurried to their seats and a room got quiet.

"We have a new student joining us today." Mrs. Chan said. The clash broke out and cheers and whistles, causing more noise then before. "I'll just wait until you all calm down." Mrs. Chan said that she picked up the roll sheet and look around the room to make sure everyone was present.

The chatter continued for some time, but soon I began to die down as they realized that the teacher was not going to say anymore until they got quiet. Mrs. Chan waited several more minutes so that she was sure everyone was listen- ing.

"Okay class, let's try this again but this time without the commotion." Mrs. Chan said as she looked around the room. When the room finally got quiet Mrs. Chan Begin again. "We have a new student joining us this year." Mrs. Chan said and stopped when she heard some chatter between some of the students.

"I suppose you guys don't want to know who the new student is." Mrs. Chen said as she sat down at her desk. The students noticed the teachers actions and suddenly it got quiet once again. "If you keep making noise I will send the new student to another class." She said as she stood up once again.

"Very well, I will continue with what I was saying." Mrs. Chan said. "I would like you to give a warm welcome Troy new student." Mrs. Chan said has she waved her hand for the student to enter the room. Chatter broke out once again as a student stepped into the classroom.
