After class ended, I headed out towards my locker, careful not to make any eye contact with anyone. My dream of Harry popped into my head, and I blushed furiously. Don't kid yourself Chloe, it will never happen. It was only a dream. And I knew that, I just.. I just liked the thought of it I guess. It all felt so real though and comforting. I didn't want the feeling to end, but it did. How could someone like me, who looks so dorky, acts like such a freak who cannot hold a conversation if my life depended on it seem even the slightest bit attractive to Harry Styles. I was a nobody, and he well he was Harry Styles, the biggest sex god I have ever laid eyes on.

"Hey Chloe!"

I turned around, froze in my tracks and didn't move one bit.

"Where did you get your jacket? Its adorable!"

I froze.. nothing came out of my mouth.

"Oh wait, I forgot, you shop at the goodwill! Ah no wonder it looks so ratty. Just. Like. You." She laughed, brushed her hair from her shoulder, and turned on her gucci stiletto heels and strutted down the hallway.

Sandra Colling is the most beautiful and popular girl in the whole school. Actually, the whole town if I must say. I live in a small town called Oakville in Ontario. Everyone here is so well raised and kind, where as Sandra.. she moved from Toronto to come live here. Her father was some big shot who owned a few restaurant chains. Hence the reason why she is wearing Gucci.

I finally reached my locker safely without being tormented anymore. I opened it up to place my binder in there. On my locker door I had a whole bunch of pictures of Harry. He was the only reason I ever made it through the day strong. As I was grabbing my books, I heard a bunch of girls squealing across the hall. I opened up my door wider to see what was going on. And yet there he was walking down the halls like the beautiful man he is. James Cobrack, he was the star quarterback and the most popular guy in school. All the girls would swoon over him if he just  smiled at them, or looked their way. He sure got my attention but it never got to me as much as those other girls. Just then I saw him heading my way towards me, with his lopsided heart tugging, million dollar smile. I looked up with horror smacked across my face. I'm sure I look absolutely attractive to him, I know.

"Hi Chloe." He said.

I stared at me, no words escaping from my mouth. I wasn't even sure if I was breathing or not.

"You know my name?" I asked.

Wow Chloe, that's the first thing you say? Way to play it cool. He ran his hands through his hair and laughed.

"Yes of course I know your name, we did go to public school together. Not the point though, I just wanted to come over here and tell you not to worry about Sandra. She isn't worth your time, so don't let her nasty words get to you alright? And if she does, you let me know okay?"

I stared at him, still nothing coming out of my mouth.

"Uh"

"And why don't you have lunch with me sometime this week huh? Maybe it will keep her off your mind for a while."

"Uh.. Why?"

"What? You don't want to have lunch with me?" He laughed again, a bit of hurt showed up in his eyes.

"No, I just.. I just.. uh.. why do you want to have lunch with me all of a sudden?"

"I'll explain later, just promise me you will think about it. The seat next to me will be open for you all week, you just pick a day you want to join okay?" And with that he walked away smiling.

"Okay, what just happened?" asked Amanda.

Amanda was my bestfriend. We didn't grow up together or anything, we actually met at the beginning of highschool, but it sure feels like we've known eachother forever.

"Well.. He asked me to join him for lunch." I replied.

"WHAT?! Oh hell yeah, you go girl!" She teased.

"Manda, there is nothing there with him okay." I said.

"Girl, you're crazy! Not only is he the most popular guy at school, but he's also star quarterback, has to die for abs, the cutest smile ever, and not to mention drop dead effing gorgeous." she exclaimed.

"None of that really matters to me though. I can guarantee you, under all of that gorgeous body, is probably just a snobby and horny teenage boy." I replied sarcastically.

"Whatever you say Chlo.. so uh can I have him?"

I looked up at her seeing her batting her eyelashes with her little puppy dog face. I laughed at her, wishing I had my phone on me to take a picture.

"You want my sloppy seconds? Why but of course Manda, help yourself" I winked at her, and watched as her expression dropped to a more"I hate you" look. Yup, she was my bestfriend for sure.

We decided to head out for lunch and get away from our grimy school. On our walk to the One Stop Diner, Manda was explaining to me how she was going away to California for the summer. Great, she gets to spend her summer in California, with shirtless, tanned, and muscular beach boys, while my own mother was sending me away to camp, fun.

"Can't you just like pack me in the back of your trunk, and i'll promise to be quiet the entire time and your parents won't notice a thing?" I asked sweetly.

She laughed. "Oh Chlo, when are you going to find the FUN in camp? Because One time at Band Camp!.."

I cut her off " ha ha ha, you're so funny." I gave her a small shove.

"Chloe, it can't be all that bad. Im sure you'll have fun, you just have to try! Who knows, you might even meet a cute boy!" She squealed.

Only Amanda.. she loved hearing cute love stories, and believed prince charming was out there somewhere.

As we entered the diner, I heard someone calling my name. I looked up to see Sandra Colling and her ratty clique huddled by the popular booth near the window sill that overlooked the park.

"Hey Chloe! Come over here!"

I ignored her, and walked with Amanda to our original seats by the breakfast bar.

"Chloe! I called out your name you bitch, come over here" she shouted.

I froze in my seat, shocked at what she just called me.

"Hey Sandra, get a life you stuck up little -"

"Manda! Don't. Just ignore her". I quickly added.

"Oh, that's very sweet of you Chloe to have such a kind, idiotic, nerd of a bestfriend to have your back when you can't yourself. Aww what's the matter? You scared?" She asked sweetly.

She laughed and tossed her silky blonde hair over her shoulder and gave me a glare. I started feeling the motion of an outburst of tears coming, and if I didn't leave the diner soon, everyone is going to see Niagara falls pretty soon. I jumped out of my chair and ran out the diner.

"CHLOE!" I heard Amanda scream.

Soon my name began to fade in the distance as I kept running. I didn't know where I was going, but I knew I needed to get out of there. I needed to feel something, anything, to make this all go away.
