Byun Baekhyun's protest echoed in the air, his concern palpable as he articulated his reservations. "You don't have to. I'll be back right away," he protested. It was dangerous outside, and someone might recognize the both of them together.

"Let's go," she said decisively, pressing the elevator button before he could argue any further. Now who was the real stubborn one? Baekhyun shook his head in disbelief, closing the door and following her into the lift.

As usual, the inside of the elevator was quiet. She stared at the top of the elevator door where the floor number was displayed.

Finally, the door slid open, and she walked out. Baekhyun followed her until they passed the lobby, but they were stopped by a woman working there.

"Are you going out? It's not safe outside," the woman expressed her concern.

"Is there a nearby place where we can buy some clothes? We don't have any extras," Baekhyun inquired.

"There is a small boutique near the convenience store on the corner of the street. I'm sorry, we only offer toiletries, not clothes," the woman replied with a hint of regret.

"No problem. Do you have an extra umbrella?" Baekhyun asked, hoping for a solution.

"I'm sorry, we don't have one," she replied, shaking her head slowly.

"Alright, thank you. We'll be back," Baekhyun said, a sense of determination in his voice, as they resumed their walk.

"Please be safe," the woman called after them, but Baekhyun didn't bother responding.

As the main door swung open and they stepped outside, a brisk gust of cold air greeted them, causing him to shiver involuntarily. The person beside him, dressed in a simple shirt without any coat or jacket, instinctively hugged herself for warmth.

"I told you not to go. It's really cold outside," he chided, concern lacing his words. Sensing her discomfort, he handed her the handle of the umbrella he was carrying.

Looking somewhat bewildered, she accepted the umbrella. His gaze softened as he removed his jacket and draped it over her shoulders. Taking the umbrella back, he asked, "Let's go?"

The regular-sized umbrella didn't offer much respite; the weight had increased due to the relentless rain. The pressure of the downpour made it feel even heavier.

He noticed her shoulders getting damp from the rain, prompting him to shift the umbrella closer to her to shield her from the elements. In the process, his own back became soaked, but he hardly seemed to mind. As long as she was protected.

The glowing signboard of a convenience store caught his attention at the corner of the street. It was just a minute's walk away. They entered a nearby boutique.

"I told you, Hansoo, we'll still have customers even when there's a typhoon," a voice from the counter remarked as they entered the store.

"Good afternoon, ma'am, sir..." greeted another voice from a couple in their late twenties who sat near the counter.

He cast a quick glance around the store, his attention landing on the women's section. "Uhm, there," he directed her to the area designated for ladies' clothing. She nodded silently and headed there on her own.

"Hon, does he look like an idol?" the girl at the counter muttered to her boyfriend, her voice just loud enough for him to catch.

His heart raced. This was not a situation he desired.

His gaze shifted to Taeyeon, who was engrossed in selecting her clothes. It seemed she hadn't heard the owner's comment.

"Here you go again, Chaehyun. Every good-looking customer seems like an idol to you," Hansoo chimed in, a hint of amusement in his voice.
