Bootcamp, here I come

LAUREN'S POV

"EEEEEKKKK!" My friends all said in unison as they engulfed me in a hug.

I just got back from the auditions somehow my friends found out that I made it to boot camp. Right now we're at my house, just hanging out.

"Oh my gosh! How was it? Did you see Demi? Were there any cute guys??" My friend, Anna asked, along with other ones from the rest of them.

Since Julia was there with me, she helped me explain a little bit.

After I answered all of the questions, we just sat down and watched Mean Girls.

I looked over to my to my five best friends, Susan, Anna, Nicky, Aubrey, and of course Julia.

I love them all to death and hope nothing would ever come between us. Not even the fact that I'm on X Factor.

Oh no. I can't do this. What if I mess up? What I trip and fall? What if I faint!?

"Lauren Daniels?" The lady asked

I think I'm about to vomit. I grabbed Julia's hand asked her to get me out of this, pleading with my eyes.

She gave my hand a squeeze and called out that I was right here, then whispered, "sorry hon. I can't get you out of this one. It's a once in a lifetime chance. You'll do great"

I nodded my head and headed up to the stage. On my way there I saw this kid who looked about my age come down the stairs. I guess he just got off stage.

He had blonde, flipped hair, and bright blue eyes that seem hypnotizing.

"Good luck" he whispered as we walked by each other.

I looked back and said, "thanks."

As I got up onto the stage and said my hellos the the judges, before I knew it the music started to play.

"Easy come, easy go

But you never give" (a/n: I purposely made it Reed's audition song)

I sang on to Grenade by Bruno Mars with all the strength I had left in me.

The song ended and I headed off stage, just waiting to see who I get partnered up with for the next day of boot camp.

**<next day>**

"Will Jones, you're with Tate Stevens"

"Beatrice Miller, you're with Brandon Hassan"

"Lauren Daniels," oh no... " you're with Reed Deming"

"Cece Frey"-

Reed Deming? Who is that? I looked around the room just to see if anyone was looking in my direction, because maybe they were Reed.

I looked and then stopped at the boy who looked like Justin Bieber that I saw the other day. He's Reed? Okay then....

I was deep in thought and didn't even notice everyone get up to find their partners.

"Hi, I'm Reed" the boy said. When did he come up to me?

"Hey, I'm Lauren"

" Yeah, I know" he said blushing a little. Awww that's adorable

"Oh, really? Haha how?" I asked

" I heard you sing a little bit of your song the other day. Actually, that was my audition song" he said

"Ohhh...now I see why we were put together. So, you're 13, right?"

"Yup." He said popping the 'p'

"So, do you wanna go hang out a bit? I don't think we have to pick our song yet" I asked.

He nodded and we headed out of the crowded room, and since we really couldn't go anywhere, considering we were only thirteen, we just walked around our hotel lobby.

He told me about his home in San Antonio, and I told him about mine in San Francisco. He told me about how he plays saxophone, and basically just about his life in general.

I really liked talking to Reed. He's a really good listener and he reminds me of Aubrey, because she's practically my personal diary. I tell her everything. Well, of course I tell Julia everything too, but Aubrey understands better.

I really like Reed. He's sweet, funny and a good listener. I think this is gonna be a really fun song to sing with him.
